❤ und ...mal wieder ist die Liebe in diesen Tracks zu spüren ❤ ich fühle deine Sachen so sehr dass es für mich kaum noch in Worte zu fassen ist ..ich arbeite derzeit auch am Aufbau meines sampler racks..hab auch schon einiges hier stehen was ich auch bei dir entdecken kann unabhängig von deinem Vorbild hatte ich einfach eine ähnliche Idee davon wie das ganze bei mir aussehen darf wenn es fertig ist ..g 4 wäre auch mal meine Wahl gewesen aber inzwischen bin ich weg von Rechner und würde alles in einem mv 8800 als masterpiece organisieren..meine Konsole ist eine mx 9000 plus oudboard Gear für eq comp Split und dergleichen..nix was besonders teuer war .. funktioniert trotzdem fürs erste .. freu mich auf weiteren Output von dir und möchte mich bei dir von Herzen dafür bedanken dass du uns an deiner Kreativität Teil haben lässt ❤Peace aus Deutschland ✌️

@@Arc.hitectureMusic hey hey ✌️an sich sieht es bei mir in Sachen samplern ähnlich aus wie bei dir ..nur nicht ganz so umfangreich 😅ich mag meinen s 2000 tatsächlich sehr gerne 😉 zur Zeit komme ich nicht so oft wie ich das möchte zum basteln..deine Tracks sind für mich dann immer wieder aufs neue Motivation 😎🤘pur .. musikalisch sind wir zur Zeit mehr bei live Techno..das macht wirklich Spaß im Moment 😊vor allem wegen der Menschen mit denen ich spielen darf 😎 ich wünsch dir für die Zukunft viel Erfolg ✌️ und weiterhin liebe für die Sache 😊

Are you mixing multitrack from the daw or directly from the synths? Is the project purely midi or audio based so to speak?

I have a 64 in/out interface where all my hardware is tracked into the DAW. From there I have 32 channels sent from the interface to Mixer for analog outboard processing. I start with midi and end with everything as multichannel audio.

@@Arc.hitectureMusic cool. I try to grasp how things worked back in the days. I guess the arrangement was midi and things were summed with an outboard mixer, but how common was two stage recordings (tracking, then summing)? I pictured many artist were lazy and simply mixed from the synths as source instead of adat tape etc.

@@FredF78 Only successful artists were doing any multitrack audio work in the 90s. Running a 2002-3 Mac G4 with 24 I/O would have set you back nearly 5-10k USD depending on the configuration and software. (Logic 5 Platinum with no ES1/EXS24 was $1500 at this time). ADAT was $4500 per unit 8 channels of audio. And not much editing ability. The sampler also doubled as a non linear editor alongside a sequencer triggered by midi for specific time events. It was much more common to do everything in midi, all equipment going to desk, then record in real time to DAT while doing all the automation you could in midi plus by hand.
Is it just me or have you got some dope gear lately? Is the SSL compressor new for example? I sometimes feel a bit conflicted if I should aim for more more of a lofi “underground” sort of sound, or indulge in hifi gear. I’m fortunate enough to have some old high end gear, but it’s such a deep rabbit hole I’m not sure I wanna go down it lol

SSL is the newest edition in this setup, next to the Triton Rack. It’s been a complete game changer in my signal chain
