This man eeeeh!! God help every woman carrying a baby to deliver safely. Help those yearning for childs cry. Carrying pregnancy to term and giving birth to a healthy baby and healthy mama it really takes God's hand
When Pete appreciated the things that women go through, I Wept like a child ,something healed in me. So thankful for this couple ,thank you LNN for inviting them❤
My late husband loved cooking for us.He even taught our daughters.. So its true families are different
This is one conversation that has made me thirsty for God.This was a life changing conversation.
Many interviews have been done but this one has greatly settled in.. i have cried all through😢 God's healing is all we all desire
That point when she said,"A woman never forgets how she is treated during and after pregnancy. That in most times when treated badly, she will leave."....this I resonate with so much. This couple makes me believe that even I have a chance to have a beautiful marriage. Thank you so much for this episode LNN....It was needed.Damn!!!

Indeed beautiful marriages still exist
In America, when you lose a newborn, they bathe them, dress them well, and present them to you in a very sensitive manner. They let you hold them as long as you like and even take photos. I don't know why we fail patients and new mothers in Kenya. When your Healthcare job becomes routine and you become insensitive its time to change your career.

Health care jobs become routine because you are overworked and underpaid. Health care workers in Kenya encounter desperate situations in a broken healthcare system. Even the most caring of them eventually caves in .

When she talked about being in private wing and not maternity was all i wished for... I had my baby but in the nursery for 3weeks and i had to watch other women give birth, go home and leave me in the hospital, i would cry everytime till i even started helping the women without milk to position their pumps and produce milk.... I would see them wonder why i was alone in my bed.... Thanks God my baby and i went home and this story you gave made me cry.

I admire Pete and Julie..such a powerhouse
Pete has just reminded me of when I was newly diagnosed with breast cancer in August 2021, I woke up one day, shook up myself and decided to brave it, I could listen to Wanjiku stories on this channel and realize that people are going through tougher times than myself, even one time during that season I took some food to someone in Kawangware I had seen on the show... What am saying is that someone's tough times may just encourage you to rise up and keep going!
God please bless me with this kind of man,he has everything that I need in a man,,,,,,I love this show may God bless u Lynn abundantly ❤❤❤

Handsome,Loving, caring, respectful,Godfearing Man, everything good in this Man, lucky woman who married you
NOW I understand why my marriage failed. During my pregnancy, birth and postpartum, my husband was so indifferent. He wasn't working, so I took care of all the maternity bills, but even on the day I gave birth, he was blacked out. He had to be awoken several times. When we went home, he didn't want to do anything for me. We're in America, so we don't have any relatives around. He complained about bringing me a cup of tea or even making me food. So from day one, I did everything myself. My feet were swollen, I could walk properly, I wasn't sleeping, my birth wound hurt and my blood was out of control. Still, he said he's a Kenyan man and didn't do that kind of stuff. I Became resentful from then on and our marriage went downhill from there.

Wooow!!!! Thank you Lynn and the Kariuki's for this amazing interview.
It's my prayer that that health workers should be trained on loss and grief especially in that case ,a mother who has just lost a baby ,it should be handled with dignity, the cause of death, should be wrapped properly and decently, present the baby to the parents let the parents mourn and just supporting the parents it's very necessary.
