My dark life with my Guinea husband and how I almost came back to Kenya without my children | LNN

When Carol embarked on a new life in Guinea with her bags packed and four kids in tow, all she envisioned was a fresh start with her beloved husband.
But destiny had a different script written for her. From integrating into new rituals to facing the harrowing loss of her husband in unforeseen circumstances, Carol's journey took a turn she never anticipated. After 15 years, this brave mother found herself fighting for her family's safety, far from what she once called home.
In today's gripping episode of the LNS Rebuilding series, Carol opens up about her rollercoaster life story - from love at first sight in Kenya, the adventurous leap to Guinea, to the heart-wrenching events that followed, leading to a quest for survival and lessons that changed her life forever.

Sure. The almost the same happened to me but their is power in the name of Jesus. Sacrificed six people in my late husband's family and him, now seven people. I kept off completely from them, attacked my daughter spiritually but called on Jesus for deliverance and the the people who were behind it, have received God's judgement and am now active in ministry. It shall be well with you Siz. Stand with God and no evil shall cling to you and children.

Involve your immediate family I.e Mum/ dad/ siblings when making enormous decisions in this case travelling overseas with family. 3.Listening to the inside man and being aware of the red flags. 4. Most of all, Always Pray and ask God for his guidance, protection and to empower you with his discernment. God bless you all.😊

Can we just acknowledge how powerfully this man loved his wife and children? I see Christians are the ones bashing her for leaving her faith to be married by a muslim man. Religion aside, this man loved his wife in the most noble way. He even sacrificed his own life for his family..Some same religion couples don't even get to experience love this way. True, pure and young love. Some of us wish we could get even a quatre of such kind of love. I pray that God will bless me with a husband who will love me just as selflessy.And..all things work together for good to them that love God. Let me give you an elementary lesson in spiritual matters. Since we have two masters, Satan and the Creator of heaven and earth, you either belong to Satan's culture like carol or God's culture. What people who are not knowledgeable in spiritual matters call culture is actually idol worship

God was with you Caro to be protected, your husband really loved you,and he gave his life instead of you and the children. You were too young and didn't believe you were leaving amongst lions and lionesses, especially the mother who punished him, by causing him that fall and fractured his leg so that he could stop him from his duty as a loving husband and a father to his kids. I really shed tears for this lady and her children. The great lesson we must learn here is to always know the family you are entering to, even though her husband tried to warn her beforehand about his family but her heart of gold made her not to pay attention to the warning signs. She had a wonderful husband, but the family he comes from is extremely evil. This is why he did not want the wife to have anything to do with his family. Your wife or husband can come from any part of the world but let God always be the center of your marriage. I come from West Africa and my wife is from Tanzania in East Africa. And the good thing is that we are both believers and pastors running our ministries here in Maryland, USA and in West Africa. We have a happy family because we belong to Jesus. Will continue to uphold Carol and her children in prayer and will save the number to connect with her. Thank you Lynn for your good job. You are such a blessing to the present and future generations May God continue to use you for his glory.

Women also need to listen to their husbands when they tell them about their own families because he knew his family but you always pushed him back to where he had run away from which I find so unfair because he wanted to please U me I only involve myself when he does and if he doesn't he always has his reasons and I always try not to ask much but women are women which I think sometimes U need to let go of husbands family since I have created your own I know she wanted them to love her but you can never force love even when U do your best if they won't they won't no matter what U do and it still ended in tears imagine their lives are OK without U all and you have the rest of your life in pain anyways may God see you through mostly the kids .

The whole story is so touching. I am learning about love and courage. What has gotten to me is the innocent kids brought to this. I am clapping for Carol that even though they had everything they still taught their children manners and all that. Because how does a 15 year old know that peace comes above all other material things. I pray they get back to school as these are the future leaders! They just had to come back to Kenya as they will be some of the best citizens! I wish them the best. What a traumatic experience. The goat was a blood sacrifice to a demonic altar, the uncles were the priests of that demonic altar, and the rings were the point of contact of the persons on whom the curses were invoked. Unfortunately, the husband in a bid to protect his family, pronounced words that sealed his fate, that any evil should befall him not his family. The 11-month pregnancy, the lost twin, the child who was rejected by the grandmother & family, the extreme poverty of the Guniean family, the jealousy of the mother-in-law, all hallmarks of the spirit of witchcraft. It's like the family wanted to sacrifice the children but to do that they had to get the parents out of the way...How wicked is the wickedness of the wicked! Only the Name & blood of Jesus can set us free. Pole sana dada. May the Lord restore to you the years the locusts have eaten. Joel 2:25.

The power of a woman’s love can transform a man. Thank you Lynn and Caroline for this amazing episode. Soulmates are few in this life. If one finds a soulmate, the rest is just easygoing irrespective of whatever circumstances. Soulmates hardly argue because they’re considerate of each other’s feelings before they speak. They always settle their differences peacefully. The opposite is the same in majority of relationships that are held together by other factors. Yelling and screaming that leads to many breakups. Young folks learn something here. The beginning must be established on nothing but genuine and mutual love for each other.

My husband never wanted me to get close to his family. Like Caroline said When he passed away, I understood why he kept me away. Right about now, I don't think Carol and the kids need the bashing portrayed in some insensitive comments regarding her experience. It's a process she went through and as they say experience is the best teacher. Let her heal, clearly we can all see that she is still grieving so she requires our moral support as well. I am sure if some of the people commenting went through her experience they would either be in a mental health institution or six feet under. Respect is fundamental especially if you are unable to wear her shoes. Carol and kids, God will see you through, the bible says he NEVER leaves us nor forsake us, He is the Father to the fatherless and the husband to the widows. Be strong for the kids, Ibrahim left you beautiful kids who will carry on his legacy. They will make you proud. Put your trust in God Almighty and you will pass the test. God bless you richly!

@@J_Abdi problem with some African inlaws is that immediately they know that you're financially comfortable while they're poor, they'll manipulate you into moving in with you and your family, they'll still be able to manipulate her husband into allowing them to move in with them as long as they'd be living in the same country regardless of them being far apart... Most men can be easily manipulated. But I agree with you, it's best they move to a different African country if they want to come back to Africa.
