Growing up in Southern California I remember my parents driving into Los Angeles to shop at the Grand Central market. Sometimes my dad would drive thru 5th Street,which was know as “Skid Row” the only place in Southern California where the homeless went to set up their tents or live in a doorway of a closed business. There were also a very few working girls in the area, but not as obvious as now. People need to survive, any way they can.

Who pays when the kids are born? who pays the property taxes to fund the schools? who pays for the roads? who pays for all the other social stuff? The system is corrupted, and Democrats like it that way. Remember, there are others paying more than 17.00 dollars an hour in property taxes and they tried to make the right decisions and had 1 or 2 kids that they paid for and so on and on.

The contrast between this and the drive through the higher income part of town is absolutely insane. A small percentage of people in la have become insanely rich while the majority are struggling.

It depends on your personal experience. Maybe you have never been able to totally experience LA County at it's finest. Every black man does not gang bang. TV and movies show Hollywood, Watts, Compton & use the term "South Central". That is merely 1/100th of this lovely city. Must go to Santa Monica & Venice....but try going to Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach or Play Del Rey & Marina, Del Rey or take the 91fwy west until, it ends at Dockweiler beach. Get out of your area, get out of the hood, get out of your head and just enjoy.

Thanks for this real Los Angele video upload. 36 years living in Los Angeles and it's surrounding cities. This is the real LA, not the embelished scenes you see in the movies and commercials. Let this be an impetus for the LA City officials to get off their asses and do something about it. The biggest issue is homeless people. Find a solution or have them all camp near the LA City Hall and defecate and bring all the useless junk and pile them up on the side walks the LA city governmen workers use to come and go everyday.
