That dude doesn't own 7/11. He's not going to get fired because 100+ people savaged the store. Scary situation for sure. But the corporation (7/11) is insured for loss, theft, and damage. Every gas station/convenience store employee is trained to specifically let them steal, because it's insured. He won't be fired, if anything he'd be able to sue 7/11 the trauma and distress he suffered

Because it's $6 for everything, at least in my area. I find it strange that, no matter the item or cost of production. Everything nearly costs nearly the same. I know for a fact 2L Soda is only 10-15 cents. But you pay $3 for it, double what it was just 2 years ago. And 50% more than that just 4 years ago. This is just food. Our country's cost of living has gotten out of control, services cost is high but you don't get what you pay for because they make sure you can't do a thing about it. Like right now. I'm required to have a cell phone at work. But I've used it maybe 5 times in the last full year. I pay $65/mo for 5G but I'm not near a 5G tower. I don't have any other working options. I can't get the cost reduced. And I lost out in small claims court to get back at least 50% the cost of a service that doesn't work.

I find it funny how "all of them" had the same day off lol

They seem to be of a certain type, or am I not allowed to think about it

If over 100 people (especially young) can organize to do this ...imagine the impact they could make if they did something positive for the community. Smh

One time in Philadelphia literally 1000s of “kids” decided to storm the downtown and loot as much as possible. I was working in a store and fortunately I got a call and was informed what’s happening before the mob reached our store so I just locked the doors. It was so crazy. The police couldn’t do anything.

I remember that. I was in tenth grade, 1985 and it was on Chestnut Street in Center City. They looted jewelry store windows, sneaker stores.

This behaviour is absolutely disgusting. I feel so sorry for the shop owner and their staff who just try to make ends meet. I hope police catch the thieves.

It’s despicable to think you’re “getting back” at this country by stealing from someone’s business. Being a buisness owner means bills not always a ballen ass paycheck. All you’re doing is proving like society, people arnt going to change either. Better yet, stealing and thinking it’s alright is the biggest lie you can tell yourselves and God. It just makes you look worse and instead of progressing as a people(as a society even) all you’re showing is you’re nothing but just a bunch of petty thieves.

I feel terrible for this 7-11 store worker. He has to risk his life to get his paycheck. No one wants to be in this situation. I hope all these hooligans get jail time.
