This song is out of TUNE, or in some kind of Tanganyikan chord structure foreign to western ears; I HOPE that's the case, instead of, "This song is out of TUNE." For me: No getting around it. I love LH -- but this is NOT a very good album, either. Worse even than Vide Noir. Jeebus, wha happened?

This line echoes through my head regularly... damn

came for the rhythm but eternally stayed for the lyrics. I had no idea this song encompasses life. "Taking it slow, but it all goes quickly The time that it takes is all I'll take with me" I'm relatively young but that makes me fucking sad. They wrote that as if they've lived the earth for many lifetimes over.

Honestly, yes. But, yeah, nothings going to be the exact same. We change and grow, sometimes for better, sometimes for worse. Nothings set in stone, that’s just how it is. It can both be a saddening reminder, but also a relieving one in my opinion:)

This is the kind of song that makes you want to hop in the vehicle, windows down a perfect temperature summer day, drive a scenic route with one hand on the wheel, the other resting on the door, experiencing the smells, sights, feel of the world. Taking the turns and feeling the body roll of the vehicle, letting the music rock you to relaxation. Well done Lord Huron, as always.

im tellin ya, some of the best bands can be underappreciated by many, and dont deserve it. one of these is lord huron, an amazing indie folk band and my personal favorite band ever. so, if you are reading this, then please, share this band to your friends, family and everyone, because lord huron deserves wayyyy more fame and credit than what they have now.

@@Sans-rt8os I don't disagree that Mighty is the least impressive of their work but I actually quite liked Vide Noir's departure from the folksy sound. I'm a sucker for experimental sounding stuff like that so I get why some didn't like it. Long Lost and Strange Trails are just some of the best albums I've ever heard. The songs are great on their own but as an album experience they are legendary.

I've noticed that a lot of their songs are about death. It's sort of been a theme throughout their albums of being immortal or coming back from the dead, no matter the cost. Idk it's just very interesting to me Edit: "May you live until you die." :)

I wish I could find some one who could connect with my soul so deep just like this song. Peaceful, beautiful, happy, and exciting all at the same time.

Lord Huron shuts that inner voice up- that one that keeps screaming at me to activate anxiety asap. They calm something in me, definitely. Could be the nostalgia, not sure. They're one of my ultimate favorites. Love you guys! Thanks for the wonderful music. 🖤💚

Lord Huron songs make me feel like I’m snuggled up in a big blanket of “I’m not alone in this misery”. It’s comforting ♥️

This song feels like such a "series finale" song, that if Lord Huron were to HYPOTHETICALLY stop making music, this would be the perfect song to end it all on, especially with how much each album is like a season of some kind of cosmic cowboy show. Times Blur would just be the end credits music probably

I have recently been exploring my Faith. This song hit me so hard that it has taken months for me to just and process it's existence. What does it mean if it all means nothing? is just such an existential question on the greatest levels. I tend to think this is a person pondering that thought after questioning many things in their life. The response is, it can't mean nothing. Your existence has meaning that we can't possibly understand in some ways (spiritual) & in other ways, we can totally understand it (measurable).. An interaction that you see as meaningless, may have meant the world to another. We all have a fabric that is unique to us, but it makes a beautiful design in its entirety. Your life means something and that can't be discounted. "Be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should"
