Lord Howe Island: Pacific Eden - Go Wild

A place of biological superlatives with a flora and fauna that have only just begun to be researched: Lord Howe Island, between Australia and New Zealand. This is the first documentary on what may be the most isolated nature reserve on the planet.

Lord Howe Island also once had Giant Horned Tortoises; when the island was larger in area.

Ian has one of the best jobs in the world. How amazing it must be to be one of the few people to explore this part of the island. I'd dearly love to camp there but I'm sure they don't allow that.

Only man can secure it's future? We are the ones that threatened it's future in the first place.

Sadly us humans think we are the judge and jury of this amazing planet. If only we could leave things alone and not interfere. Unfortunately there are some who believe they have to interfere to protect species but it was exactly that interference that has caused the issues. No easy answers now we've done too much damage 💔😥

I think Ian supposed to stay in the Island to look after animals. He have a great understanding about the creatures who lives there. Also Everyone who is trying to save the biodiversity in this Island God bless them.
