Cocos Island - Mysterious Wonder of the Pacific Ocean | Nature Documentary
Watch 'Bermuda - Island Paradise of the Atlantic Ocean' here: • Bermuda - Island Parad...
Cocos Island protrudes from the Pacific Ocean - a lone volcano peeking out of the blue grey waters, off the Costa Rican coast. The island has many similarities with the fictional Treasure Island, penned by Scottish author Robert Louis Stevenson, himself an intrepid traveler. Maybe he was inspired by tales of Cocos Island as he never went there himself. The tiny island is just 25 sqm2 and covered by an impenetrable jungle of streams, waterfalls and gorges, making it the world's largest uninhabited island rainforest. Because it is so isolated, unique flora and fauna flourish. Today, as a national park and world natural heritage, park rangers guard and oversee the entire island so it may hopefully remain a treasure for decades and centuries to come.

I never heard of this paradise. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place. What a wonderful, peaceful distraction from the crazy world right now.💝
What a wonderful program. I truly enjoyed this, after watching so much anger, hatred, diseases, and weather disasters from all around the world. Such a beautiful place, undisturbed by humans. Hope it will remain that way, and the few other places in the world that are similarly wonderful.

We are murdering babies in their mother's womb. Destroying the planet so that the babies that are born can't enjoy it isn't surprising. It's par for the course with our fallen nature.

The new Attenborough??? he doesn't even know where he is m8! Cocos island is in The Indian Ocean, not the Pacific, he's only about 5,000 miles out. Cheap garbage.
After a long tiring day, when I listen to this song, I feel like I can immediately forget all the troubles of life. Hope you will make more quality products like this.
This wonder, love it!Thanks for such a good work you risk doing. This, the real adventures!
Amazing place, brave divers and beautiful documentary 😊
You brought me there . How exciting & challenging when I imagined I was there swimming together with the big & small creatures under Cocos Island . Amazing!! . Thank you for increasing our learnings..
What amazes me are the megalithic structures at the bottom of the ocean just south of the Island that no one is talking about...

I just find myself wondering how long it's going to be before we wreck that island somehow. But still beautiful and fascinating. I hope it thrives. The hammerhead footage was dreamlike.
Que video mas fascinante, felicitaciones por tan maravilloso trabajo.
What a beautiful place, Cocos island 🏝 Thanks for sharing 👍 Greetings from beautiful Hawaii islands
Wow, Life underwater has similarities in fighting for existence as it is above the surface for us as humans.
Mesmerizing, the underworld, enchanting but also, dangerous,, love it ,so relaxing, thank you, my 2nd time watching this documentary,
Great documentary... I ❤ Costa Rica.
Its relaxin to watch ocean life
RE Robert Louis Stevenson wrote Tresure Island when staying in the Cramond Brig Hotel (Admiral Ben Bow) near Edinburgh. The nearby Cramond Island 1 km from the beach was the Island he got the idea from and most maps printed in most Treasure Island books are from 1810 map of Cramond island mapped for the Edinburgh District Council.
I had not heard of this breathtaking island! It takes your breath away. I’m going to look it up. Thanks!

@Omega Minus :) i'd like to believe that but online newspapers websites have no problem blocking adblock. Rather, i tend to think youtube is looking the other way as long the % of viewer using adblock remains low (more damage to their image than the gain from a few % more people seeing the ads). If they really wanted to fend off any blocker they have the resources to do it, more so than adblock. It's why it's better not to hasten when that day will come.
The treasure was the island all along 🥺
Thanks so much in sharing your Video COCOS ISLAND I love birds and marine life including fishes.
What an unexpected surprise! Enjoyed watching, thanks for this lovely video. So peaceful and relaxing.
AMAZING FILM. I ENJOYED THE ENTIRE VIDEO. GOOD AUDIO AND NARRATIONS.
So beautiful. Leave it to the greedy humans poaching the area. We must end that.
This documentary must be a bit old, given that 100% of documentaries nowadays make use of unnecessary slow motion throughout the whole film. That has certainly ruined nature documentaries for me. This one was a breath of fresh air, and really fascinating.
I like this kind of documentary, enjoy watching it & it's very informative & another discovery, Congrats to the crew & staff who made this wonderful show.🥰
Earth, don't leave home without it. Even if we were to find another planet amenable to our forms of life, we could never find anything like the mother planet, that gave us life and sheltered us as we evolved and continues to protect and keep us alive.
Thanks for everyone... excellent documentary
Such a marvelous paradise! Of course, like most islands, it was originally a tree. Now the stump is petrified while the water still gets pumped by the system which the tree immmplanted deeep in the ground. Our islands, are giant tree stumps. Waterfalls and cascades are the giant tree's ancien root system pumping water upwards....
This looks like Jurassic island 🏝🦖far from outside world 🗺

Thanks for this wondeful documentary that I saw twice.
I really wanted this to be about the terrestrial side. The marine side is cool but the land is outrageous. So many unique species because they're landlocked whereas the marine life can get swept in from anywhere and isn't as unique
Amazing 👍
Cocos island is located in the Pacific ocean and there is diversity of marine life in this ocean. Sea divers are doing their research on shark life and there is much more to see in this program. Amazing vedio.
