Thanks for the reaction as always! I personally found this to have the most impact of all the Loona title songs. Chuu's vocals just carry through so well. Also thanks for just saying what you thought of the song and not sugar coating it. I enjoy thinking through different perspectives as I am not that knowledgeable about music theory or tropes

I think it makes sense that this new sub-unit will have a more traditional and pop feel to it. In the k-pop spectrum as a whole, 1/3 and OEC are really experimental in comparison. It's fitting that the last sub-unit will bring Loona whole by attracting a more mainstream audience. To everyone involved with composing/producing/writing for when Loona finally debuts, I imagine they're gonna have so much room to do anything because there's such a wide range of genres Loona has done. Personally, I hope the last sub-unit is more like the b-sides of Yves and Chuu because Loona hasn't really delved deep into the R&B and House genres. If these 2 tracks are any indication, it shows that they really can hit those genres with top-notch quality as well. Besides Kim Lip's Twilight, D-1, is one of the few R&B tracks they've done. Twilight was produced by Cha Cha Malone and he's one of the most prevalent R&B producers. They also have been working with Monotree and Daniel Obi Klein a lot, so they definitely have the connections to create some great R&B tracks. Girl's Talk could be in the EDM and House charts. I also hear some Daft Punk influence in this track. It's amazing that they continue to make songs that are so different than what they've done before. I'm just super hyped for this sub-unit because it can go anywhere really since the b-sides and lead singles are so different from each other. Nevermind, the whole group because my brain will probably explode if I try to figure out how that's gonna be like. Loona truly is a music lover's group.

a few similar notes doesn't mean that they copied it :) it's really hard to come with something totally unique, there'll always be one part in every song that's similar to other songs (whether similar in rhythm, melody, or others)

I know! I was expecting it to be a lot more quirky than it actually turned out to be. I kind of wish they would have used some more of the sounds that they used from the teaser in the song itself, but overall I was pretty satisfied with what BBC/Chuu created. 😊 As always, I really appreciate your opinion on the music~! ❤

It’s both jazzy and also gives a 50s girl group feel during the major part of the choruses♥️ also the bridge progressions are some of my favorite to sing as a vocal major, they just sound so complete with the flair of those accidentals .

Yay. Umu's back! I liked the general beat and tempo of this song and 'Yes', Chuu has a good singing voice. Not sure the song was quite as adventurous as I would have liked. Found that half way through the song was getting monotonous. I liked the 'rapping' parts. Generally liked it, but maybe not enough to buy it.

I'm always looking forward to your reactions, particularly when you react to LOONA. I enjoy your comments on the musical structure of the songs. Please, keep on doing them.

Loona1/3 solo songs and subunit songs are legendary, not many appreciate them :)) I think it's a great strategy by BBC. They want to attract to the widest range of music listeners from casual pop liking music listener to, creative serious music listeners :D A complete package. Their full debut is scary tbh haha

Hey Umu!!! I wanted to see if we had some similar things to say about this song and we did... especially that one Melody line that is similar to Girl's Day ' Something'. I was wondering if you thought that the descending synth bass line during the pre-chorus threw this song off a bit. I don't know what it is about that part but it really messed up the song for me. Loved your reaction as always. For me, JinSoul's 'Singing in the Rain' is one of my favorites. Musically it kills me and it just constantly has this heaviness. The weird things they did production-wise during the chorus really freaks me out (in a good way). Anyway awesome reaction! 😜💜

I love Chuu's voice...how she can incorporate emotions and make the listener feel different things...wow, hehe!

Loona have always had pretty vocals and of course Heejin and Haseul are amazing vocalists but they've never had a vocalist like Chuu who has a more powerful voice. With the majority of Loona having softer vocals i was beginning to wonder if there was gonna be a member who had that power to her voice and Chuu delivered that. I honestly dont know which solo is my favourite but Heart attack, Kiss Later, New and Let me in are definitely up there.

the "u attack my heart" x2 part reminds me for some reason of Girl's Day I'll be yours, like, "jikummohe i'll be yours, baby i'll be yours" i don't really know anything 'bout music but that's the most similar I thought of lol

I really like her voice, I didn't expect her to sound like that at all, for me, her voice saved this song from being plain. Kiss later is my favorite solo followed shortly by Love Cherry Motion. I'm really liking LOONA's concept. Thank you for the reaction, umu! Happy Holidays!

It’s always so interesting to hear about❤️ Personally Chuu’s song is one of my favorites of all of LOONA’s individual singles, only contesting with Haseul’s Let Me In. I do like Eclipse but it didn’t interest me very much unfortunately; I guess I had really high expectations, but I wasnt really let down, just was expecting a more dark and sultry type of song. And yas i agree, Chuu’s vocals are mainly what made me attached to this song! I would’ve liked it to be more quirky though, but they do have lots of time to experiment and see what works for Chuu as well as the group as a whole.

even though it wasn't very musically interesting(?) i feel like heart attack is one of my favorite loona songs to date. it just makes me really really happy and i'm in love with chuu's voice.

As far as I know, Yves did some harmonies for this song and some of the low vocals, in the beginning, are hers as well. This song is one of my all time favs when it comes to solo Loona!

I'm very happy that you were honest with your reaction, I am so down with it. Personally, this song is one of my favorites but that's because I'm slightly less musically and more vocally and I think that's what they were trying to showcase here. Chuu has such a freaking amazing voice and definitely one of the best vocalists (if not the best, tied with HaSeul) so I think they were trying to show that so that might be why they went with a less exciting(?) approach musically. I appreciate Umu's reactions because on this channel they focus on music and actually react to it, which is completely different from most reactions you can find on youtube, but I still keep waiting for them to react to what's happening in the video and keep getting frustrated over how Umu often doesn't pay attention at all at the screen haha. When I first watched Heart Attack I immediately fell in love with the song but also got so so excited about how gay and cute the mv is ♡♡♡

Songs like "Let Me In" and "Sonatine" are also why I love LOONA so much! This song is musically very interesting, and my favorite part is the bridge (2:52). It has one of my favorite chord progressions... I don't know the exact name but it has a dominant with the seventh in the bass (same progression as BoA's Only One). Also, I love the tritone substitution at 3:00!

In the end when you see Haseul it seems tobe a reference to The Carol the trio song by the first three loona members. Haseul is wearing the same outfit and is holding shopping bags. She was late to the meeting with Hyunjin and Heejin in The Carol so she was probably waking Chuu up. Also theyre both December girls so they must have a connection on the mobius strip theory!

To me this song have some parts that remind to other girl groups like Bestie, think they have a song called Excuse Me similar to this, but overall I think the song is very fun and adds variety to what Loona has already done. The b-side is very similar to 'uncover' so that's a good thing for me.
