I Harvested my final deer for the season with only 4 days left. I had to use my climber stand to ambush the deer's latest route of travel. I had brought my camera gear out with me but we met with a dead battery when I turned it on as three target deer were approaching. I ended up shooting a nice respectable doe. I used my cellphone to finish documenting the hunt. As I followed the blood trail to where the deer laid down, I noticed a lot of blood on a tree. The doe must have ran into the tree. It seemed to be something out of a horror story.
