My exact feeling worded by you... That was a hunt... They worked hard, the hunt itself was soft, ( as Mr Moose isn't the most clever animal. ) Working the meat, bad weather, tough rowing, got good rewards, well done...

I can't recall seeing a better hunting video. Of ANY kind. That was epic! No one could do better with millions of dollars and a full production crew. It was PERFECT! You should release it again with a click bait tag. Keep everyone on the edge of thier seat and then come out ok. I was on the end of my seat knowing that you obviously did. You guys are amazing! Congratulations!!!

Just got back from AK from a VERY remote fly in fishing trip. I was out there for 8 nights 9 days. Water in spots was very high and very swift...not going to lie, minute 23:45 gave me PTSD and a dash of reoccurring pucker factor! Moose, Bears...i don't mind as much as that water. That far in and that remote, that sh8t is a game changer. Great Job! Great Video!

That was a pretty epic hunt in my book. @ 71 I'm far too old to attempt anything like that now but would have loved to go on a hunt like that back in the day. I still enjoy my whitetail hunts with my son but I may have to give up my climbing tree stand for a ladder stand in the near future.

I spend more time than I should online watching videos. Normally, It's just fly-by-night viewing of content, skipping from video to video, hoping for an immediate release of dopamine from a kill shot or fast car to hold me over until I can hit the "next video" icon. However, this video actually sparked an interest that went beyond the normal wormhole of youtube. You guys told a story with your adventure without all the bullshit marketing theatrics that most outdoor enthusiasts gets lost in.Clear, concise, and full of points that leave you hanging on to see what happens next! @@Randy_Savage_ohyeah never hunted moose. Mainly black bear and brown bear on the peninsula DIY with dad twice. Saw some monsters but never got a shot. Took black bears. Drew a dall tag around anchorage and hiked in up eagle river solo and got major blisters. First time ever and had to turn around. I’m just a little guy so I was in over my head even without blisters, but it was alot of fun. Did a ton of black bear on copper lake with the scanoe and 4hp. Friend of mine and I unloaded our rifles on a brown bear just out of the den up there one morning but back then we didn’t have range finders and we shot way under him after we walked it off. It was fun. Never cared for caribou hunting. Main goal was a brown bear and that was my dads life dream so it became mine. I have so many regrets on our peninsula hunt on 2 different 10’ class bears. Wish I had waded a chest deep River one day. I would of finally had a shot on the 10’r that crossed behind us on the beach during the night every few nights it seemed. Finally figured his round robin track and found him across the river at a 1000 yrs or so but that river looked pretty cold and deep. Should of walked the same direction as he was along the River and I would of met with him eventually. Highly recommend the drop off hunt on the peninsula. That country is unreal wild country.

@@Randy_Savage_ohyeah that’s an awesome accomplishment. Especially the dall. I can vouch for that. Always wanted to do a drop off float hunt for moose but never did. Ended up moving out after 5 yrs so my time was too short. Haven’t been back since but would love to hunt those peninsula bears one more time. Mainly hunt Montana exclusively now. Elk and wolf on/off for damn near 40 yrs. No elk tag this year so just wolf
