I use to struggle with looking people in the eye especially when I felt an energy that they thought I was stupid, intimidated or weak. I LOVE the opportunity to embarrass them and show them that they have no power!

Beautifully said. Some are also autistic which comes with alot of social anxiety, isolation, unability to look people in the eye bc they try to focus on their speech, being able to speak and form the correct sentences, it's too much sensory impressions for their brain capacity to handle both. I am like this and have alot of trauma too. Moses had problems with speaking too.

You're right my sister. Autistic people are very sensitive with certain sensory points. I totally understand them not feeling comfortable looking in someone's eyes. Moses did indeed have a speech impediment and he complained to God about it. He wasn't confident in his call because of it.

Depending on the importance and complexity of what is being said to me, I may well partially close my eyes and turn my ear to the speaker. Learned that from a brilliant Superior Court Judge before whom I argued a rather important Motion. After introductions, Judge Gants swiveled his big chair 90 degrees to his left, closed his eyes and reclined. That's how Ralph Gants heard arguments. And let me tell you: He HEARD every word ... and read between every exactly as intended. I had to use a lot of indirect suggestion to paint a picture of someone's character without running afoul of standing rules & guidelines and getting the meaty stuff riddled with objections and struck from the Record. When the Order came down, I was in disbelief reading it. "Holy ____! He got it!" So, since that day, whenever anyone has some highly important matter to impart unto this Olde Boy's ears, that's what they're gonna see: My Ear. Not my eyes, but my Ear. Of course, if I'm doing the talking, ... whole different protocol. ~TD

@@missctolbertvoh the sad part is. It is my mother. I let her live with me for five years to get back on her feet. She is a user and wants to stay because of the lifestyle I live. God told me to let her go. My lease is up in February. She will not be coming with me, or invited to the new address. Shopping on Temu , but won't look for an apartment. Deuces. My grandma raised me, not her. Oh and she called and filed a false elders abuse on me. God blocked it, but it could have cost me my license to practice me profession, and I still let her stay.

Then once they’ve tried every manipulative tactic possible they can they could pull on you no longer works then your labeled difficult and unruly and that’s when they will heavily slander your name at the selfish cost of not being able to control you. For those who may read this comment and you may not know how manipulation and control may look in the form of crafty but very sloppy poor taste of words here it is . Some people will try to make you feel guilty for placing yourself first before anyone else and even them because in their mind you suppose to put yourself last and put them first so they would say things like ohhhhh you think your better than us. Sis in that sense I understand you! A random person shouldn't be approached that way but the people you have to come in contact with or deal with need to see you face to face with all confidence and you knowing who you are. If your head is down in the presence of some people you're interacting with they may take that as a green light to mistreat or disrespect you.

@@Blackmadonna88 folks out here will try you sis! They will see you're not feeling the best or they can sense you're having a bad day and use that to try and play in your face. I've had to check so many people since I was a child and let them know to not try it with me. I stayed getting suspended, wrote up and reprimanded in school by teachers who tried to undermine me. I WASN'T HAVING IT! Family is also included in it. My mother always called me a tempest in a teapot. Her and my father repeatedly had to whip or put me on punishment cause they said I would buck up against them. I didn't disrespect my parents but when they were harsh in how they spoke to me it triggered me
