I love that Wilstrop keeps going and is still playing. As of the date of this comment he is 57 in the world. I hope he keeps battling on the pro circuit for many years to come. A great player who adds a lot to the game.

Willstrop's style is so unique, love watching him play. Would love to see a corker between Wilstrop & Gawad, for example.

Wilstop will go down as one of my favourite players on and off the court. He is a total gentleman, the penultimate sportsman and an all round class act. ElShorbagy, whilst I respect his skill, I don't have the same respect for for his sportsmanship. He admitted post game he wet that ball, such a crappy thing to do.

13:15 Isn't the player supposed to clear towards the T. This guy was camping their after the shot (obstructing the easiest line to the ball deliberately).

Willstrop great work, although a dodgy moes serve in there don’t know how that wasn’t a fault serve.

When I first saw the clip, I was pretty judgemental of what Shorbagy did with wetting the ball in sweat. But now after seeing it in broader context, I kinda understand that he wanted to get one back against Willstrop with his unnecessary prolonging of the game, especially after making Shorbagy stop mid serve. Not cool on either of them

I don't really see how stealing a point with a shady move is on level ground with delaying play? He should be prompting the ref to give conduct warnings instead of cheating. The only thing is I'm not sure if it's actually intentional, since I didn't see Shorbagy explicitly wiping the ball in the clip. And just saying, this isn't his first time doing it. He did it against Soliman in Houston 2023, and he actually snitched the game with that. I'm enjoying Mo's comeback at this point in his career, but he doesn't need to pull these dirty tricks especially with the form he's having.

@@Orbituation I couldn't agree more. There is one thing taking your time to be ready to receive serve. One could call that a tactic... but personally I see it as a right. But watch Shorbagy go to the front and the ball is in the hand he uses to pick up the towel.... if he consciously chose to wipe that ball in sweat then that is neither a right or a tactic, it's cheating pure and simple....

I like Shorbagy but he was naughty in this game. The fake swerve and then the sweat are super uncalled for. Willstrop was slow but being slow is ok. You can play to your own pace when serving.

Hit like if you caught the mind games of Willstrop when he was delaying service and frustrated Shorbagy..
