6:50 Interesting tidbit: in the original French version of the novel, Erik's mask is described as all-black with cloth hanging from it... just like Chaney's mask! Which means, while we the audience see it as white so it's more visible on monochrome film stock, in-universe Chaney's mask was probably meant to be black.

Seeing as how Lon Chaney was known for loving deep details like that, he most likely wanted a black mask, too. Could you imagine the Chaney in all black? Oh, lovely!

by far the most expressive mask. its demented, creepy, and sad at the same time. it's brilliant

I bought 2 of Justin's masks, I can tell that he puts alot of effort into what he does.

Just bought one I’ve been thinking about it for a while and your video was final inspiration review to purchase one.

There is a replica of Lon Chaney's makeup case on sale on eBay.

The original mask had the elastic band or string, too. If you look very closely in certain scenes, you can see it. :-)
