In Webber’s phantom, the intense rock ballad was the titular song. In Rosen and Schierhorn, the rock ballad is the music of the night song

The deformity looks great tho.

I honestly really like this song, it’s not as good as music of the night sure but I think it’s captures Erik’s passion and possessive nature just as well. The actor playing him also really doesn’t do a bad job. I’m a huge Phan and I thought I had collected all the film versions of phantom that existed on dvd. That was until I discovered this little gem as well as Dario Argento’s Phantom of the opera so I had to order those right away.

I love this adaptation. I skip most all of the songs when I watch it but I like this one.

She gives me such "Linda Hamilton in Beauty and the Beast" vibes

This was the only song from this version of Phantom that needs more recognition.

I'm not a big fan of the "Perfect Music" song, but this show actually looks amazing! The make-up is pretty, Erik is so shy and worried about Christine that he ends up being possessive, yet he doesn't want to hurt her or be hurted 🥺💔 Christine is PISSING ME OFF calling him a coward and disrespecting his personal space! But i hope she'll change and be kinder just as the novel 🥰🥰

This is from The Phantom of the Opera 1991. It has David Staller as the Phantom/Erik and Elizabeth Walsh as Christine.
