Long Trail Run in the Wasatch / Gobblers Knob & Desolation / Trail Running in Salt Lake City - Ep. 3

Subscribe! This is my longest trail run yet. I went into Millcreek Canyon, up the Alexander Basin trail, across Gobblers Knob, Desolation Trail to Desolation Lake, and then along the Wasatch Crest Trail. I've spent most of the summer trail running since moving here to Salt Lake City, but winter is coming fast, and I wanted to see how far I could run. The route ended up being 18.5 miles and nearly 5000 vertical feet of gain. It was really fun but really tiring!

Loving these videos you're putting out, man! I just moved out to SLC a few months ago as well so these videos help me a bunch to find hot spots for trail long runs

Nice run. I just moved to SLC too and had a few nice run in millcreek cayon last few weeks. It s been fun running on on the snow!

Took awhile, maybe 5 hours? I got really dehydrated and that slowed me down
