What a well read gentlemen.. why cant we have educated leaders like him making decisions 😢
Thank you very much for giving me a chance to develop my English skills
This is one of the best interviews by Alanki. Talal Rafi speaks to the point and gives global examples which makes his points legitimate and easier to understand.
High time to introduce a policy in accordance with the needs and deeds of the realistic way to boost our economy in fairness...Surely we have a way. Well done gentleman and thanks for the episode...
Well done. Alanki knows how to train youngsters who are interested to become media personalities. Fortunately, She is well educated to guide her invitees from economics to fine art. Many thanks her media majesty giving me an opportunity to know about the economic crisis in Sri Lanka present and past.
Merry Christmas & a prosperous new year ✨️ Alanki. Your interviews r always eye openers. Keep up the good work 👏.
Though this interview is 6 months, contents are quite useful and informative.

Thank you! 🙏
We need modern ideas
There is only one or two hotel owned by the government- Hilton/ Waters Edge . Does that make a huge difference?
Nice
Good
I am going to understand the meaning of words in the dialogue
Please insert Timestamps in new year..
Ranil Wickremesinghe elected president by Pohotuwa 🌷🌷 MPs,not by people of SL🤔🤔
Excellent analysis and presentation.More amphasis could be made of alternative options to inderect taxation viz. Collection of large sums of taxes by big defaulters, opportunity revenue losses due to currupt fiscal policies policies, currupt politicians ,officials, businessmen etc.Offshore funds of currupt practices.Panama Papers. The FM never talks of these things leave alone taking action.A change is the only solution.

What about International Sovereign Bonds??? Which is the major cause for the prevailing economic crisis!!! What the ‘F’ yahapaalana goons did with it!???
Our Sri Lankan billionaire have reached that through sheer political corruption not through reasonable business practices and don’t play by the rules. Look at Dammika Perera
Life is going to be really tough for 2024, feel so sorry for Sri Lankans 😥
To say the least about Sri Lanka failure it’s SOEs are not just corrupt but are the most inefficient in the country yet it’s employers are given salary increase and bonuses.
I am studying English.
Surangana kirilliyee…?
NPAs of Commercial organisation are written off. So, how privatisation is efficient. Again public money of Banks are used. Who is accountable.
How are we going to make people of the country literally everyone the upcoming elections are not about who is going to rule the country it should be about how are we gonna recover from the current status. ☹️☹️
In 1948 SL was 2nd best economy in Asia. Now 2nd LAST in Asia. Because Sinhalese keep discreminating Tamil people since 1948.
with backpack tourist, brains and talk without industrial export knowledge we are doom.
No political party has stated that they are going to bring SL self sufficient. Can anyone comment on this? Hire a president from another country if the that’s the case with the past president and their blunders 😅 Malimawa is the only party that remains and not govern with a majority, they should be given a chance this time. All others failed so far. Let’s try the less evil.
We want NPPrs with tough interviews..
Why NPP have not been interviewed in this channel?

Not worth enough though
Bro ask for the fucking presidency, we'll vote for u😂
this will become a mexico within next decade !!
One thing that i don't agree with his statement about Manmohan & Montek.. they were not visionary or even good at realpolitik economics they were just good clerks/admin officers who were able to do task given to them.. even if you read Manmohan ji's view on economy prior to 92 he was staunch socialist in economic outcome... we as indian must do shastang parnam to imf who force us to do reform that china did way earlier.. only way to improve economy for us developing nation is to not believe in big daddy no one is going to give u dollars for ur mishaps.. you gotta pick ur shit & work hard.. one big thing that srilanka could do is to link their economy with india's.. start producing stuff that we need from china & want to 'diversify' our import... build ancillary unit which will support behemoths like L&T, Tatas, Mahindra & big pharma
Our country is full of Panditayas but with no understanding in economics .
