@@dwg8084 Don't be fooled, there are def different levels of model. Some people are beautiful but still don't know how to vary up their movements and expression. Obviously Krystal is great on both fronts. -P

Beautiful model, amazing photos and very nice explanations throughout. I especially liked how detailed you went into the postprocessing steps. Might be a little too fast and intricate for complete beginners, but as someone slowly getting comfortable with GIMP this was extremely helpful for me!

Thanks Chris! I'm always happy to give back and take some of the techniques I've been lucky to learn and share them with our audience. I have to be honest though, I've had some great photographers to learn from :) -P

Free lol...you're forgetting were all paying them a fortune through our views and support for their channel and company. They have sponsorship's, affiliate links, $2 per 1000 views on every video, and advertising money, etc. I'm not trying to make fun of you or Fstopper's.com, I am just laughing at the idea that they are doing people a public service for free. Patrick and Lee are millionaires now, and sure they work really hard and are talented and smart people who had a great idea and a lot of success that they deserve, but I think sometimes people kid themselves about some of the top youtube photography channels. Jared Polin, Tony and Chelsea, etc. are all millionaires and they are not full time working professional photographer's anymore, they only do photography for the benefit of their youtube channel, which is usually to review or rather sell camera's through affiliate links and the above mentioned methods they are paid for and through youtube, and other means.

@@patricksmith2553 I can't disagree with you on not shooting full time anymore. Since moving to Puerto Rico, the jobs here are very limited and my priority now is to focus more on Fstoppers (I was a full time photographer for almost 10 years). That being said, at 70,000 views @ your $2 per 1000 views, I've made a whopping $140 on youtube ads and maybe another $150 on affiliate links. So this video, by the end of this week, will have almost paid for the model :/ No one is getting rich making KZread videos alone; the key is diversification and YT is a great way to promote other things we are doing. -P

@@FStoppers Yeah well I noticed you didn't disagree with me on being a millionaire and I wasn't assigning you any blame. You are a talented person who had a great idea in starting Fstopper's.com and you deserve what you have. All I was doing was playing devil's advocate and letting people know that the top youtube photography people are not doing these videos as a free public service. I have a buddy who has only about 38k subscribers and literally lives off his income from youtube. So I know damn well what kind of money you guy's are collecting every month from YT viewership. You guys have probably thousands of videos and many with millions of views and you also have affiliate links and advertising money as well.

@@patricksmith2553 they may not be doing the videos for free, as Patrick stated, they made some money to compensate the model. This is essentially marketing, that we pay a very minute price for, individually. The payoff for Patrick and Lee, is the work they get from doing stuff like this. Which is where the real income is coming from. Now, maybe Peter McKinnon is getting rich from youtube...but he also has 3.5M subscribers and his videos get hundreds of thousands of views, or even millions. For the compensation they make from their actual youtube, we as viewers are getting essentially free knowledge. Which is incredible. But again, it's marketing. Now, I may be more enticed to purchase a few of their tutorials, or even all of them. That's the power of giving some advice for free.
Fantastic photography, this guy is awesome.
