    Hey, I have an important question. I've been trying some long exposure shots with friends doing the typical phone moving light trick. However, with my speedlight, it flashes at the beginning of the long exposure when i'd much rather have it at the end so the people don't end up being blurry. How can I change that? i've found nothing that tells me how to do it. I have a canon 750D.

    Because it is not about to understand what is he speaking, but comprehend what is he speaking about. These informations are for beginners, and I myself, cannot process all of the informations he is giving in that short time. Switching to fast between shutter speed, ISO and aperture can be confusing, specially if the speaking person is also using synonyms as exposure, f-stop etc.

    i already love this series. Is it going to be a series? For the next a topic might be: Why does my on camera flashlight only allow a shutter speed of 1/200? For a sharp skateboarding photo 1/1000 works best.

  • @joshkatz

    @joshkatz

    8 жыл бұрын

    +True Soic Going to try my best to make it a series. Short term answer: all cameras have a maximum shutter sync speed with lights and most DSLRs are around 1/200 or 1/250. Either shoot with a flash below those shutters or turn the flash off and shoot faster shutter speeds. Long term answer: There are ways around this that allow you to use flashes at faster shutter speeds but it requires special equipment. I'm filming a tutorial on flashes tomorrow, so keep an eye out.

    Great Tutorial I am a beginner and all I did was pause from time to time and play with my camera at the same time. It was also great to see some one go into the setting in more detail as in the shutter speed and the effect it has on light etc Fantastic thanks.

    You explained this so well, I'm just starting to get more familiar with long exposure and this helped me so much, thank you!
