I'm about to be 29 and I'm about to go to college after over 10 years of graduating. I joined the military I worked a bunch of jobs I traveled . Now I finally want to go to college. This stuff has not been used and has been kicked out of my brain. I'm thankful for KZread because I'm reviewing everything that I wasn't sure of on my practice re-evaluation test. I don't regret not going to college and I'm really excited to be on a journey of trying to go. I had to get that Wanderlust out of me first LOL

After not doing basic arithmetic for years after doing calculus and all the other advance math stuff, I thought it is time to go back into memory lane lol. It is so easy nowadays for people to just pull their phone out and do all the calculation without really using their brains. Unfortunately, due to this basic cognitive skills would start to disappear in kids in the future which is kinda sad. Technology can be a blessing but it can also be a curse.

The answer would just be 24. When I rewrote it as 504 divided by 21 that result (24) is the same as 50.4 divided by 2.1 because I just multiplied both numbers by 10. I hope that helps! You've got this! 👍

What if you're dividing a smaller number by a larger number? There's an exam with no calculators allowed asking 75/381

So 75 goes inside the box and we add a .0. Then the question is "how many times does 381 go into 750?" Put the 1 on top, subtract and keep adding zeros as long as you need. I hope that helps! 👍

The zero is just extending the number we are dividing by another digit... 393 -> 393.0 Then the 6 is how many times 5 goes into 30. I hope that helps! Thanks for asking!! 👍
