My confusion is when the number is 2.29, do you move that one or two decimal places? all the examples are numbers with a zero next it.

The area of a triangle with the height 100mm is 3500mm squared. Calculate the base of the triangle
@shawnvictoria9200
8 ай бұрын
The formula for the area of a triangle is given by: Area = 1 2 × Base × Height Area= 2 1 ×Base×Height Given that the height ( Height Height) is 100 mm and the area ( Area Area) is 3500 mm², we can rearrange the formula to solve for the base ( Base Base): Base = 2 × Area Height Base= Height 2×Area Substituting the given values: Base = 2 × 3500 mm 2 100 mm Base= 100mm 2×3500mm 2 Base = 7000 100 mm Base= 100 7000 mm Base = 70 mm Base=70mm So, the base of the triangle is 70 mm 70mm.

Problem: I dunno how to divide lol (but i know how this works)
Mr J I have a problem
I wonder: why do Americans draw that sort of square root? Why do they swap dividend and divisor? Why do they write the quotient at the top? Because here in Europe we have none of that rewriting and go straight for the calculations, writing the quotient to the right.
