Lone Cowboy Hour - Michael Martin Murphey Album Special
Tonight I share songs and stories from my album titled, Michael Martin Murphey, which released in 1982. This album was on Liberty Records and featured "What's Forever For", "Love Affairs", "Still Taking Chances" and many more great songs! Definitely was great to go back and sing some of these songs I haven't done as much since the 80s. I hope you enjoy and please share the link with your friends!

You and your music Mr. Michael Martin Murphey, Still soothe my heart and soul, ever since I was a young teenage girl in the 70’s. Incredible. Thank you so much and God Bless You.❤️
I am absolutely thrilled watching this video, and hearing the stories of how the songs came about. Glad to hear Michael Martin Murphy this many years later! I have this album and listen to it often. Thanks so much for doing this Michael January 13, 2024

Michael you have a wonderful heart people love you and so do I . keep going. one day people will realize what you really meant God bless you..
Just watched the 1962 movie "Geronimo" with Chuck Conners last night with my Wife. I mentioned to her that MMM song Geronimo's Cadillac had been in my head for the last week. She said she did not know the song, that she did not grow up listening to KSHE-95 radio here in St. Louis. I said, your in for a treat and we listened to it. Then I cam across this. Really enjoy your work. Here is a little Greek from 1John 4:4 *NIKAO*-To Overcome, To Be Victorious. God Bless!
Great music
I like Crystal, Two Step Is Easy & Ring of Truth; most familiar is Still Taking Chances & What's Forever For..I heard these constantly. It's great hearing your stories & having you entertain us. I like you so much! Your attitude & voice are wonderful.
Love you and your music. Met you yrs ago in a honky tonk in Florida where you were playing. Was there w my wife and danced feet away from you and your wonderful band. It was a great night. Sorry for your divorce and missing time seeing your son grow up but things have changed! Take care Murph!!
Thank you Murph.... my parents made it just shy 70 years. Lost dad 12/25/2020 (93) and mom last week (92). Broken hearted, took care of them for the last 12 years or so. Your music soothes my soul. Thank you. Many blessings
Your song bring back so many great memories. Thank you!
Needs a CD RELEASE!!
I exercise my inalienable rights by writing and performing songs. There's good art, and bad art. Both are valid. The main thing is to be free to create. Like freedom of speech, just because we have the right doesn't mean it should be said. What passes for creativity today is mostly a short- cut to thinking. Lowest common denominator.....Anyway..... Thanks Murph!
Thank you Murphey. I like this album. Many years ago, when I heard the song Lost River for the first time, I liked it very much.
You sang my favorite song I'll make my home in New Mexico and I don't live there any longer but this song makes me cry yearning to be in the mountains of New Mexico. Where can I here this song?
Always enjoy your music
Just saw this awesome man!
I came for the songs and the man. M-cubed.
Looking forward to this!
My husband and I are thinking about seeing one of his shows at 3MMM Ranch. Does anyone know if he does song dedications for special occasions?
