Brodie was adorable calling Mr. Z a sweetie, and then I actually got a look at him and saw how cute he is - and the man can cook a mean burger! They should bring him back on the show. 😂

I love how Ollie commented on the stupid cutting of the dessert and comparing it to a child’s behaviour. Love it.

It's the theater of food. It's part of how they justify their ridiculous prices. Yes they do have the highest quality of ingredients, and yes, they do have amazing chefs, but probably 50% of the cost is attributed to the ridiculously over the top way they serve it. :P

​@@wchan39 I still remember cringing when he was spouting random Spanish words at an ITALIAN woman who owned that breakfast place and you can see she was genuinely annoyed. like I get you're a clown mate but you still need to respect the place and the workers there. In that second restaurant I hope the cooks didn't hear his joke about the burger that looked like it shat itself. That was just plain juvenile. Ollie is a wholesome lad most of the time but episodes like these make me roll my eyes.

​​@@kiwihermit5080 to be fair he tends to confuse languages together and jumble up words and expressions so it's not like he does it on purpose (he even had SHALLOT confused with SCALLOP up until recently 😅) and you can tell he feels genuinely embarrassed and bad once he realizes his mistakes. And no, I don't think she really was annoyed - to me it looked like she was just playing it up to make things funnier. If she really was pissed I'm pretty sure she would've had no qualms in kicking them out. (I will fully admit that I felt some secondhand embarrassment when she pointed out the Spanish... but I was also in tears from laughing.)

The first spot's burgers look insanely good! Unfairly fresh and juicy, and the ingredients look like pure quality 😑 I trust these gentlemen enough to believe that I'd also have close to a best-of-my-life experience if I went there.

@@keiron.4612 A valid opinion to have, but the more you cook meat like that, the tougher it gets. You lose out on the juiciness. I also think that a lot of that sentiment is cultural and stems from not having access to quality meat. Yes, if you're buying unidentified ground meat from a dude in a cart who also sells watches of questionable quality, probably better to go well done. But a reputable restaurant sources their meat from reputable butchers. There is no reason beyond personal taste to ever cook a burger well done.
