All the success to you sir!
The city of London should pay you for all the promotion you are doing and for making visitor's find their way and have more fun! Cheers.
I used to be a postman at mount pleasant for nearly 38 yrs . In 1990 ?? They painted the mail rail trains & platforms yellow to represent the Vatican"s underground . Bruce Willis did 2 days of filming down there for the film ( Hudsons Hawk ) He filmed on the Saturday / Sunday nights . The platform Manager who"s name was Greg . Got a photo of himself & Bruce Willis & the film crew . Greg told me that Bruce Willis was a really nice guy and the photo looked terrific . ................. Joolz love your video"s mate
You know you're starting to get old when things you remember from your childhood are now in a museum.
I watched this video and I went straight there and it was just as amazing as this video shows. It's well worth a visit 👍

Wonderful! Don't forget to tell the people at the museum!
at 02:39 you slipped into a Mr Benn parody which was rather nice, as the way he went off for his adventures & then returned to his normal life made me think he was the original Indiana Jones.
My Great grandfather, William Finch (1858-1918) was a letter carrier, and later a postal clerk at Clerkenwell. His brother William (1857-1908) also woked there, as did my grandfather Leonard B.A. Finch (1892-1963). I knew nothing of this when I went to work at Canada Post in 1975.
had heard of the post train but not that it was preserved and turned into a great attraction that keeps its spirit alive, thanks for alerting us to this unique experience
Absolutely love Julian, he is so entertaining and knowledgeable about London.
Brilliant. As your film suggest too - the Postal Museum is a must. I was MOST FORTUNATE to have taken a ride on opening day and loved it and the museum as well. It is not to be missed. Cheers
Absolutely fabulous!! Thank you, Joolz!! 💗
Hard to figure out who's having more fun. Joolz or the tourists!! Great video trip down 'memory' lane.
Love this video....Joolz is like a kid in a candy shop....very cool museum
Lovely you made your baby listen this song for his first time
When youtube recommends you a corker of a hidden channel and you just know you're now in it for hours before the intro finishes.....
This museum is definately on my "to do list" now, after watching your fantastic video. 😁

There's an Edward VIII postbox still in use in Maidstone. Week Street.
Yes! I was the 100th "thumbs up"! Yet ANOTHER museum to add to the list for when we visit London! After we get there we may never leave! There is So Much to do! Great Job, Joolzie! Sweltering here in Louisiana, 96 degrees and 80% humidity, indoors under a ceiling fan sweating like a pig! But....great to get another vid from you Joolzie, makes it all more bearable...like a letter from a dear friend...Cheers!

Thank you Joolz on this lockdown I am Hea Concierge in Knightsbridge sitting here bored until I found you and your vids, you keep me awake cheers mate.
Very refreshing documentary; lots of fun, thanks for sharing!
Wonderful job. I'm loving your videos. I'm planning my London visit in January and want to visit this museum now! 😀
I filmed the Mail Train back in the the early 90's for Nickelodeon, the kids TV channel, whose studio was across the road from the Charlotte St sorting office, a station on its route. It was still in use by the Post Office back then and was certainly a lot grubbier and run down than its present incarnation. I'll have to have another look at it after the lock-down comes to an end.
Loved the Mr Ben moment. We really enjoy your vlogs. Thanks
My favorite Joolz Guides by far!
That was brilliant. Thank you.
Bloody brilliant vid. Fascinating. Loved the Bowler hat Sir. 🎩

Another living person on a stamp - Paul Simonon (Bass Player for the Clash). When the Royal Mail did a series of stamps of record covers they included London Calling by the Clash featuring Paul.

I have been working for Royal mail for thirty years and i still haven't visited this museum. I am based at mount pleasant.
We have our own postal museum here in Washington DC and your'e right, it's one of the lesser known tourist attractions in the city, and yet it's one of the most interesting and fun museums in the city, I imagine just like in London

Hi Grace, I don't think so. I think you have to pay for this one although I didn't check. I got in for free. The London pass is only useful if you have really planned well otherwise you can end up wasting money on it.
Tour guide was cute, like her accent
I ❤ your videos 💝💝💝💝
I'm binge watching all your videos! I wonder if we're related!
Thanks for the tip, will make sure to visit next time we are in London for a holiday. Your videos would have made our last holiday more fun knowing where to go. Alas, I first saw your videos when I returned home and I was sorry I had not seen them earlier. Great job by the way. Keep up the good work. Have you done anything on The Shard? The magnificent architectural building which has become iconic and a part of the cities' skyline. Thanks. l live in Spain, by the way :)

While we are here looking at post boxes, after Ireland got it's independent back, the government didn't have money to waste on new post boxes, they ordered the existing red British ones to be painted green. Many are still in use today so you can see the British royal insignia (including the rare ER ones) on green postboxes around Ireland, and some have had the doors replaced and so have both the British royal insignia and either the Saorstát Eireann (Irish Free State), P&T or An Post (equivalent of Royal Mail) symbols on the same box. Last year, as part of the 100-year commemoration of 1916 rising, some of these post boxes in Dublin were re-painted red, as they would have been during the war of independence. Each box invited passers-by to free-text the word printed on the side of the box to the number provided to access a video clip showing what that post-box 'witnesses' during the events of Easter Week 1916.
