January 21 2023. The Mighty London City Lionesses take on Crystal Palace in the Barclay's Women's Championship. Crystal Palace win with 2 goals to nil but it's not a straightforward story. Palace take the lead 20 minutes in and frustrate LCL getting first to balls and cutting out potential attacks. Second half was awesome from LCL, they had grit, fight, and determination but unfortunately failed to get an equalizer. Hermione Cull was excellent in goal and was extremely unlucky to concede a second. Deserved LCL Player of the match.
