London All Lines Challenge 2: EVERY TUBE LINE AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE!
On the 17th July 2021 right in the middle of a busy evening peak myself and The Great Eastern Train Fan reattempted on one of the most ambitious challenges in London. This attempt follows
In our version of the All Lines Challenge, we travelled on all the London Underground lines, companies operating trains in London (eg. Southeastern, Thameslink, GWR) and all TfL managed lines (eg. Trams, London Overground, TfL Rail) in the shortest time possible, something we believe nobody else has ever attempted before.
So join us on our incredible, fast paced journey against the clock. What will be our final time? Watch along to find out!

Excellent video. Well done being able to co-ordinate your travel on all those lines. you would more likely find it a bit easier here in Melbourne Australia. We only have three underground stations on two levels.

You should do the Bakerloo to Northern switch at Embankment, there is far less walking there than at Charing Cross.

Thanks for the route info! Embankment was always a better change than Charing Cross, but for this route that would mean we would have to double back on ourselves (which we wanted to avoid.)

Good job, guys! I perform with you, Bank-Monument interchange is very long and bad. I hope, London Underground builders won't do long interchanges in the future. Good luck!

I hope so too. Unfortunately I think they’re going to become more common, particularly at large interchanges where there are constraints on space…

I think you could have cut it slightly short if you arrived at Baker Street with the Met Line, would save about a minute's worth of walking, but I guess it's down to pure luck which line comes in at the stations.

I guess so. I was coming from Edgware Road so the H&C platforms were easiest for me to begin with.
I have to try this, though I won't be running :)

For the next few challenges I just did the Underground lines. By definition the “All Lines Challenge” is all the underground lines, not the whole network; for the first attempt we covered all the network.
