Bravo! I think this ties in nicely to my theory. I think You and Doug are right. Kang will be the one selected out of time. I also think this will be why Thanos and Loki may fake their deaths. I believe Thanos used the reality stone to fake his beheading and goaded Thor to take his head. I also believe Loki enchanted Valkyrie on Sakaar and sacrificed her to Thanos in his place. I believe Loki also enchanted Baulder and Odin. I believe Loki and Thanos are currently on the timeline. Loki is still Valkyrie. Thanos might still be at the garden. The one part I'm having trouble with is where Loki went after the first Thor movie. My logic says he went to Sakaar first. I believe Sakaar may be a relativistic timeloop paradox attempt. I can't figure out how it plays in other than existing on its own relative timescale. I almost want to believe the grandmaster may be a Loki in disguise. Whatever the case I believe the multiple wormholes around Sakaar give instantaneous access to different points in spacetime and, in theory, could be used to undo particular causal events. I believe the Devils anus was created by the collapse of the Rainbow bridge at the end of the first Thor. I also believe Loki intended to give the Avengers the mind staff in order to change the outcome of their confrontation with Thanos. He used the mind staff to divide the Avengers rather than them stand united. Their division leads to the infinity war where Thanos is destined to snap. Rather than Tonies vision where he is the only survivor. 2018 Thanos knew how the future would play out. He used the information gained from Nebula to ensure the snap happens. he faked his death and the Atomizing of the stones to ensure the tineheist. Loki learned of his death and uses non-stop apocalyptic events to mask his variance or take another identity during peaceful moments. Our tineline is not the sacred timeline. we are currently witnessing Lokis rise through the events of the Infinity and multiverse saga. I guarantee 💯 percent that Valkyrie will reveal herself as Loki at some point. I think Kang will be defeated at a critical moment and the next timeline we see that exists simultaneously with HWR will be Lokis timeline with a multiverse and mutants. One He and Sylvie can share. One where he plays a necessary evil as an agent of entropy to steer causal events. Perhaps Wanda in house of M could be the reason Kang ever resurfaced to begin with. I half suspect the timeline we know is a post house of M timeline created by Wanda. To complete out Oroboros moment I want Loki to create a timeline with Mutants etc and then have Wanda use the mindstone in some way to escape the reality Loki created for her as the new HWR or Avenger Prime. Only for her to have to relive her kids' death regardless because of the events of Wandavision. a microcosm of a much larger event that had already occurred and still hasn't. For real Ryan it's time to talk. I've got some other content ideas surrounding Cap as well I know you'll like.

4:30 Kang does not to be "spread" across timelines cause Kang already exists on an infinity number of timelines already. 6:00 Yes there was an ouroboros loop...but this IS Kang's security net...NOT how it started. Kang from Antman Q was the Kang that STARTED the ouroboros but it is Victor that becomes He Who Remains. Kang is the Chicken and He Who Remains is the Egg. Kang is the Puppet Master to the TVA and He Who Remains. Loki will end/threaten to end the ouroboros loop and THAT'S when the real Kang will emerge. ***** I would even say He Who Remains was taken as a baby from his own time and placed in the past by Kang.

That's actually a really in-depth theory. Kang and Victor Timely becoming one inside the temporal loom and Loki being the one who unknowingly retrieves him from it fulfilling the "Every step you took to get here, I paved the road. You just walked down it." would be a total shock. But Loki flipping the literal script and joining the Avengers, defeating Kang and becoming Avenger Prime would be the ultimate treat for the character. A true "Glorious Purpose."

@musiclover I love this! Hiddleston has really made the character so beloved, to see Loki be the king of sorts that even Odin said both of sons were meant to be, when they were boys, would be so cool.

I think this theory could definitely happen and I’d love to see it, but I think Loki season 2 will only show up to Loki realizing he helped get he who remains back in power. I really hope there is a Loki season 3 before kang dynasty and secret wars that shows Loki breaking free of this loop and becoming avenger prime, setting him up to be a vital role in those 2 movies

I like the theory too but I think Luke might be closer on the ‘timing’ of it (hehe)… if they fit all of that in the last episode it’d be cool but I’d also feel a bit bad… I think maybe it ends w Loki giving up his existence for ‘unknown reasons’ only to come back later in a movie as avenger prime. V cool theory tho and the main points I agree with. (I also didn’t know about Avenger prime and will read up on it now 👏👏👏

Everyone or the mass majority of people are claiming this is what's going to happen but all choose to ignore two things. One is Marvel (at least when it comes to their core content) loves to subvert expectations and does the unexpected quite often. The second thing and something much bigger, is the last line in Loki S2 E5. Where he says "I can re-write the story". I think this is him and the writers directly saying that things wont continue to loop forever like he who remains/ Kang had originally planned. I also think this could complete Loki's character arc perfectly of breaking away from the person who's just there to fail so that others can succeed. Being the one to finally succeed. Him succeeding would also do justice to his title as the "God of Mischief" as he'd be the one to break the cycle and free the universe from determinism and into true free will. Moving away from tricks and minor chaos. But an actual 'God' and universal force. This is all if Marvel chooses good story telling over future profit. which im seeing promise in this time.

Wake up. An evil Kang ..... discovered the original TVA with real living Time keepers ... and Loki being He Who Remains ... and killed Loki & the Timekeeprs .. and used the TVA to protect his timeline. But this evil Kang ... would become good ... and set up a loop where a Loki, variant OB, & Timely ... will eventually restore the Original Timely. Why are you worried about He Who remains back into power. He gave the TVA to Loki & Sylvie .. and told them all about the coming Kangs who are evil and the multiverse war? This good Kang has to be brought back as a backup for defeating the Kang Wars .. but also ... because the original timely .... has Loki & OB creating the TVA ... based on incomplete designs from Timely .. and they go back in time to get help from Timely ... who ends up being spaghetti ... creating the Kang multiverse ... and the evil Kang who would kill Loki and take control of the TVA ... and defeat the Kangs. The good Kang could have easily killed Loki & Sylvie ... but he's a good guy now. But he needed Sylvie to be chaotic .... as the focus in on make Loki ... He who Remains.

1:38 Don't think Sylvie was involuntarily sent back to the McDonald's timeline. She simply chose to return to that timeline with her TemPad, like how she chose to go find Loki when that timeline was starting to spaghettify.

Damn, so she just straight up bailed and left Loki to die?? She didn't know he was going to survive. She seems way less likeable this season than last. She went from being at least somewhat reasonable and kind to straight up cruel and ridiculously selfish and self centered. IDK, I'm not really sold on her arc this season.

Now I understand why "He Who Remains" wasn't scared of the Loki's at the End of Time, and kind of came across like he was happy to see them.

EACH VARIANT HAS A DIFFERENT TEMPORAL AURA There are several variants of Loki who reside at the void at the end of time. If each variant had the same aura, mobius could not have successfully pulled Loki from the time stream with the aura extractor. If they go to extract victor timely from the loom, it cannot be Kang who comes through, based on the logic they have already given

It makes more sense that Loki, not Kang, was the one who founded the TVA. Kang would have chosen experts as his employees - soldiers, FBI agents, real judges, genius scientists... Not a jet ski salesman or an unsuccessful author. Kang would pick them for their expertise, whereas Loki chose Mobius and the others because they were his friends.

I dunno, OB makes sense because he also understood theoretical physics. So he would be a perfect bridge between the science and the mythology that the TVA required. Mobius and B15 didn't make as much sense to me. Though maybe the former's tendency to support people and ability to convince everyone including himself of what he believes (including Loki) was why he was helpful, and B15's compassion needed to resurface after He Who Remains died in order to upset the TVA's mission and cause unrest. It is all so brilliant, though--no matter who initially picked them, Loki becoming friends with him at the TVA leads to him restarting it with the same personnel the next time.

It would be awesome to see this unfold. I just want something major happening in the finale. It feels like it's been a while since there has been a legit reveal/impact moment/etc.

If Loki can truly "Rewrite the story" then it becomes very challenging for this, honestly amazing, theory to come to fruition. With this new found power, he literally can write his own plot armour. Unless Kang already knows a loop hole to this power. I hope Loki becomes God of Stories instead of Avenger Prime, that feels more fitting to his current OP situation....I also hope we get to see Kang The Conqueror in this last episode, he's an incredible villain

The final episode better be 2hrs..... can't get enough of this serie

I am still very cautious about it trying not to expect to much to not be disappointed

I think we are giving Victor Timely too much moral credit as a "good" Kang. He will quickly drop anyone who wants a partnership with him. I think once he gains more knowledge regarding the TVA he will make a plan to rule over time and put in motion the destruction of the other Kang variants.

It's already happened. He had a copy of the TVA manual for years. He knew all about the workings of the time loom. Then, at the crucial moment, and with no explanation, he declared that he should be the one to approach the loom and get spaghettified across all time and space, thus becomming the most powerful being in the multiverse. Mild mannered Victor played everyone.

One comparison I havent seen talked about is how he who remains wiped the memories of anyone in the TVA that knew of his existance, same as spiderman was doing to fix his mistakes. in no way home. Perhaps, due to all of Kang's manipulation of the timeline, he too had to remove himself from the timeline to avoid absolute destruction. Additionally, the reason that time travel is even possible in the TVA, is because it is not outside of time, but a timeline with a timeline, ie a simluation. This theory would make it a lot easier to follow, but it would also give little meaning or purpose for the kang saga. or does it? Idk, just interesting the think about.

I'd love to see the show end with Loki and Sylvie sitting at the end of time, together, as King and Queen. I think THAT is were Kang went wrong. He tried to do it alone and by wiping Renslayers memory caused his eventual defeat. The end of time needs balanced perspectives. Loki and Sylvie could be that balance.

I think when the Council said “The exiled is dead,” they’re talking about He Who Remains. Maybe they were aware about everything and was stuck in a pocket universe where time doesn’t exist, just waiting for all these kangs to appear.

I think the probability storm is an element of quantum mechanics. Scott figuring it out gave Kang the answer to getting himself out at a later time or at least how to manage the storm while he’s there. I think the citadel at the end of time and the timeline is in a black hole. Since kang is trapped outside of time he is likely protected from the timeline meltdown

I agree with you on the development of Loki Prime. Even He Who Remains eluded to such in his confrontation with Loki and Sylie, when he offers control of it all to them, siting his weariness of His own repeated fate/ prison. But for Loki Prime to emerge, Victor's control of time and space through Science has to diminish and Magic has to gain prominence. Therefore I interpreted that, at the end of episode 5 when Loki realises it isn't a question of "what, how or even why" but "who" he choses to timeslip to the point of Victor Timely suiting up to go repair the loom so that Loki will take his place. With the security protocols down and magic can now be used in the TVA, I believe magic will play an integral role in allowing Loki to survive the temporal radiation and attach the through-put-multiplier. I also do agree with your assessment of equating the multiplier with the multiversal engine. And therefore can see how that revelation can lead to your interpretation and linkage leading to having to retrieve Timely's aura out of the loom and pulling out HE Who Remains. After all, when Antman emerged it was because all his variants have one common drive, the decision to save his daughter. Victor's variants' common drive is to have it all to himself, "no partners!" (not the businessman, not Ms. Minutes, nor Renslayer, or any other variant of himself.

We were told like 3 different things were at the end/outside time. The Void, the Citadel, and the TVA.. like can they all not look out the window of the TVA where they see the timeline, and also see these other places because you could see the timeline from those too, and on the wide shots it wasn't all that big around

I like most of your theories, except your Insistence that Victor Timely would have just been a Candle Maker, I think him making candle molds at a young age was not a projection of his future occupation, but just a hint at his leaning toward invention and ingenuity. I think if not tampered with he would have had a career similar to other inventors of his time in the mold of George Washington Carver, Garrett Morgan, Lewis Latimer or Charles Drew. They didn't have great mean but they made meaningful contributions to science and society which would be note worthy an aspirational for someone like OB ( an immigrant scientist trying to make their own mark on science and literature). I think normal Victor would have been someone like Garrett Morgan, maybe OB would have gone to a Highschool named after him (in a small town in Wisconsin), but he would not be widely lauded, just a foot note in history.

Someone who saw an early screening of the whole season said that at the end kang returns and it makes no sense with all the new news about deciding last min to make Dr doom the new villain because it would be a waste of time for everything the did with the new Loki season and the way they end with kang returning so I believe that's what's goin to happen

They could never exist if there was always one sacred time-line. I do love the idea that Kang used Loki to achieve the best version of himself, I think Loki should learn that and use that to help achieve the heroes best versions of themselves to stop Kang.

Variants of Loki have probably done that (make best version of heroes in their timeline). Maybe the Lokis at the end of time could identify the best multiversal team of avengers to take down Kang

I think you could be right on all counts.. but I think this series might only go as far as Loki saving the universe and allowing his friends the choice to stay or go. The ultimate friend's sacrifice to let Mobius return to his sons. Casey and OB will likely stay. I think we need all of this to complete Loki's arc.. without which these shows lose their way. I think the future Kang will be implied, though, or seen in an end credits scene....

Ps I feel like after rooting for Loki through 2 seasons the fans kind of need at least a temporary happy ending for Loki.. even if the future danger is teased..

I feel like loki will make the tva in episode 6 and set everything up for them to arrest loki in season 1 and thus would lead him down the same path we've watched him come down, ultimately everything leading to secret wars where we will see the culmination of everything set forth in this saga

The best brake down yet

The show established that every variant has the same temporal aura. So literally any Kang could come back if they use that temporal aura extractor. It could be The Conqueror, it could be He Who Remains (my bet), it could be Timely, or it could be another variant entirely. I kind of hope they use it right at the end and RAVONA RENSLAYER comes out and she show ends with us all realizing Renslayer is a Kang and waiting to see how the films follow up on that thread. It's the kind of cliffhanger they should have given us in Secret Invasion and failed on. But I think He Who Remains being the one who is pulled out rather than Timely is the obvious way to retain the Oroborous / Time Loop motif the show has established for this season. "See You Soon."
