16:37 Holy shit... THAT'S WHY KANG wanted him. He WAS THE PERFECT candidate for the job, but also knew (like himself) he'd NEED a partner to keep going, for companionship. Where this all makes more sense that Loki was more influencer of Kang than anyone else as he SAW the chaos in freedom, even though in the end, he really DIDN'T want to control all that chaos.

I think the print out is shorter because it’s only what Loki said from the moment he caused the branch in the timeline and onward. Anything he said prior to that wasn’t part of his crimes against the sacred timeline.

there's definitely a base logic to that in principle that I like, however I feel like if it were the case, ironically that would then be way too MUCH paper. I mean, he's sent from NY to the desert (we have no reason to believe there was an intermediary destination we never see), he barely says a couple sentences to the natives and he's caught immediately. Even giving him the greatest of leeway, I'd say he'd spoken less than 100 separate sentences inbetween the branching and when he's put into that processing room with the cat. The stack wouldn't be nearly that big.

Loki season 2 is the best thing coming from marvel since Loki season 1.

NGL I think Loki's sex being marked fluid has more to do with Loki's sex being fluid rather than that there are variants of different sexes (though that could be part of it). Loki is a shapeshifter after all, and if you look at the actual legends of Loki, Loki has both sired (Hel, Jörmungandr, Fenrir, etc.) and birthed (Sleipnir) offspring.🤷‍♀

Sad when you realize those people in the desert were pruned to the void and spent their last few minutes of life terrified and being eaten by alioth

EVERYONE in that universe was pruned they reset the whole timeline from the point of Loki’s escape thereby destroying the entire branch and everyone unlucky enough to exist in it.

this episode with loki saying why he does what he does, is proof he's going to be running the place/universe in the end, just not in the way he wanted

Agreed. Theres nothing really “exciting” about the MCU other than Loki, and maybe What if. Other than that everything else seems been there done that and formulaic.

Loki had one of my favourite portrayals of the multiverse, but some stuff in the recent MCU has complicated it, such as multiple Sacred timelines. Is is possible that when He Who Remains pruned some of the other universes, he didn’t completely destroy them, so they grew back into individual sacred timelines? The use of the word “prune” equates the Sacred Timeline to a plant, so this could be like planting cuttings. If so, it could explain why the MCU and Spiderverse seem different. There are some overlaps between the Timelines, such as with Donald Glover’s Prowler and live-action spidermen, but that could just be explained by the portrayal of Timelines in Quantumania, where branches of two different Timelines neared each other.

so if the timeline that loki came from got pruned. so watching endgame again, i noticed that they actually took the mind stone and time stone after loki made his escape. so that means that when they went back to return the time stone and mind stone, they actually should have went to a timeline that had been pruned. or they shouldn't have even been able to complete the time heist due to loki getting the timeline pruned. major plot hole.

As one of the suckers who bought the 4K steelbook set of Loki Season 1 I think I’ll save these for when that comes and I watch the season again.

Swear, is anyone else seeing AoS vibes in LOKI like nothing else? Especially looking at the Chronicoms Hunter class like Malachi, even dress like B13 and other hunters. However, the Anthropologists class Chronicoms, like Noah & Enoch, the best friend of Leopold Fitz, are more like Agent Mobius of the TVA and his affinity for Jetskis. Chromicoms Sybil, who handles the blue sacred timeline they called timestream, and Atarah, both look like early variant choices for Judge Ravonna Rensselaer, who I pointed out before is a MoonKnight variant.

This definitely was one of my favorite marvel series that they came out with in recent years, if not in my top three, such great acting, and plot and suspense.

Loki Season 1 was phenomenal because of the writing of Michael Waldron. I’m honestly worried how season 2 will fare without his very singular writing style and direction.

Ps it's weird to me that Michael Waldron wrote Loki which I adored and Multiverse of Madness, which felt like a slap in the face to Wanda's arc in WandaVision, but as a writer myself, obviously some projects are better than others!

Lol yup. During that episode, I wondered why the Nexus event didn’t occur when the Avengers went back in time when that could have prevented Loki from even doing that. I also question if the other variant Lokis were failed attempts at making them the one to take over. Cause He Who Remains did say it’s suppose do be a Loki. But what variant? Or it was just all plotted that way for the other Lokis to help that Loki to get to that point.
