you can actually push the M720 scroll whell left and right and it acts as a horizontal scroll like the mx master 3.

fantastic video, bro you should do more tech videos, you are real, honest and comprehensive in comparisons, can be improved, but great already imo. I need an advise, i plan to purchase only for excel : 1. does the m720 have the (back and forward button)? 2. can it horizontal scroll like the mx master 3? if yes, is it efficient like the mx master 3? 3. how many customisable buttons it has vs the mx master 3? 4. is there a middle option between the m720 & mx master 3? 5. Is m720 & m720 trialthon the same mouse? PS : for me is 35 usd (m720) vs 85 usd (mx master 3) decision making dilemma

fyi - i found that to be the issue using my 2016 macbook. so perhaps PC doesnt have this problem? if i have a bluetooth keyboard hooked up to my macbook and my m720 is linked via the usb dongle, both work seamlessly

Hi! I don't know if this is common knowledge but you can unlock the middle scroll wheel to make it faster on the M720 by clicking that middle button.

The gesture button on the Master is hard to press than the M720 and I use that for Misson Control so it's kinda a deal breaker for me. And I prefer the horizontal scroll on the tilt left/right than another wheel on the Master

Hi Arnold, i do have the M705 now. i want to upgrade my mouse to the M720. i know the specs about the M720. My question is : aliexpress sells the M720. Are they fake or original ??? i have checked them all. The sellers on aliexpress say: Original M 720. Should i buy it on AliExpress ??? Thanks !!! Glenn

If you use the m720 with more than one PC ... it's connection button is so much better. I flip between 3 computers on the fly all the time with it without needing to use the flow software. The mx master 3 you have to lift the mouse to do it... which just sucks

Is the mx master 3 easily scratchable as well like the m720? Or like hard to clean? I find that dirt keeps sticking on the m720 and its hard to clean without damaging the finish. I would keep using my m720 but the material feels weird now (after 4+ years), so im planning to replace it.

ive been using my black 720 for 5 months now. im relatively careful with mine so havent need to clean it or have dirt sticking to it. which mouse are you thinking of getting? i've been very happy with my 720. mxmaster 3 helps more with big spreadsheets and horizontal scroll, otherwise it sits there collecting dust

Nope, not available for m720. just tried.

I just purchased the M720 for work, I was going to go for the master but in the end the size of the mouse (I have small hands) and price made me steer away from the master 3. I've hear the MX Master 3 is a GIGANTIC mouse so that was the deal breaker for me

M720 > MX Master 2S > MX Master 3 in my opinion. I had these 3 mice. Ultimately, I chose the M720

how so, can you explain, im in dilemma for for these 3, but i think 3 wins 2s especiall price difference is only 20 usd, but 720 im not sure yet, appreciate advise.

@@deveendranpathmarajan8949 I found that only on rare occasions does the MX Master 3S automatically switch between devices as Logi claims*. So does the Logi Options+ software allow any of the MX Master 3S's buttons or gizmos to be reprogrammed? No. That meant that if I wanted to switch between devices using that particular mouse, I had to flip it over and push the button on its underside the nput it back on the desk. Have you ever used a mouse like that before? Of course not, and frankly it's insulting that Logi thought they could do that to its customers. Given that I wanted to switch between devices every few minutes or so, that little routine of pick it up, turn it over, push the button, put it back down drove me flipping mad (forgive the pun). So I went and bought the M720 Triathlon as a replacement. Why? It has a button for switching devices next to your thumb. Press it and the mouse is guaranteed to switch device every time, no fuss, no more tearing your hair out. * i.e. by pushing the mouse pointer up to the edge of the screen.

I got the MX master 3. The greatest bummer for me is that the button to switch devices is at the bottom of the mouse... and I have to use it A LOT. It was a bad experience.. Everything else was great but if you have to swap devices often I wouldn`t recommend it. That`s why I`m returning it and getting the m720. I know you can use the "flow" technology but my work PC is connected to a VPN so it's not in the same network as my personal computer. Also I use linux in my notebook and it doesn't support the logitech options app...

Dark field laser, superior ergononomics, side sroll wheel, premium build, 40% off, I mean... use the guy up there 🧠. It's easy to recomend the cheaper one when you have both because they do the same job after all, but sometimes its not just about getting the job done, style and xtra quality make life more interesting. if you can affod it, get it.

How does the M720 compare with the M510?

I haven't tested the m510, however reviewing the features and how much it is - I still recommend the m720. My wife and I use the m720 and both enjoy using it. It also has more features than the m510. Size wise, the m720 strikes a solid balance (not too big, not too small). Looking at the m510, it seems like it can be small for some people.

I have both and the M720 is better in a lot of ways. The clicks have more tactility, it's much more comfortable as the middle grip width on the M510 cramps my hand as I have no place to put my pinky, and the scroll wheel is much, much better on the M720. The one on the M510 is very stiff, sometimes skips, and does not have the infinite scrolling option. The sensor position on the M510 is also wonky so when you move your mouse, it doesn't always seem to go where you expect or want it to go. The sensor location on the M720 is more centrally located so it moves more predictably. It might also be placebo effect, but the sensor seems more responsive on the M720 as well and the one on the M510 seems faster, like it has some sort of built-in acceleration. The mouse feet on the M510 are also rough and loud, and they are nice and smooth on the M720. I've also tried the M705 and it has the same sensor placement issue as the M510 and the clicks have a ton of pre and post travel, making it a very cheap and unsatisfying clicking experience. The tensioning is perfect on the M720 and feels like it might be spring-tensioned, much like the G305/G203. No pre or post travel at all.

i'm not sure. but i can pair it with my macbook from 2016 (and thats the laptop ive been using this whole time) so my guess - yes, it can pair with the ipad pro 2018. i would be shocked if it can't.
