Logitech M720 Triathlon Mouse - Comparison with MX Master MX Anywhere and Marathon mouse
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
This is a video review of my favorite small-medium sized ergonomic mouse that doesn't break the bank. Additionally, it has features comparable to expensive productivity mice like the MX Master.
Note: I am not affiliated to Logitech or any reseller of the device in any way.

Wow this was such a great review!!!! I love how you compared other common mouses. Gave me a better understanding on which mouse is best for me!
This is exactly what I am looking for! Thank you for creating this video! Very detailed and exactly what people need to see before buying the mouse. Keep up the good work!!!
Thank you so much. This is the comparison I just nedded.
unique comparison. great analysis. Thank you.
Thank you. This is just what I need. The comparison showing the hand usage really helps. Good speaking pace too.
This a really honest review. My hand is almost 7" long, I have been using the MX Master 3 for 10 months now and still don't feel used to it, mos of the time my hand and wrist hurt, then I have to switch to another smaller mouse. Another issue it's weight, this mouse is heavy. Because of this, I gave a chance to the M720 Triathlon to use it at the office and it's way far more comfortable. I wish Logitech makes an upgrade of the M720 with the same scrolls that MX Master 3 has, the feeling with magnetic scroll is fantastic but it's ruined with the bad ergonomics for small hands. I feel I haven't enjoyed the money I spent in this mouse.

Completely agree- but their Gaming mouses are another option for smaller hands.

Agree - I just returned my MX 3 because it was just too big and not easy to move around quickly. I'm using the Anywhere 3 instead. I am used to the fingertip style of using mice though.

@@roastnut I also use Anywhere 3 at home and for mobility, and M720 Triathlon at the office, this last one is way more comfortable than Master MX 3 if Logitech remade it in Master series materials for sure will be a hit in sales

@@carlosacostag Yes, I've used the M720 before as well. I might get one again, but I returned it before trying the other 2. The size and mobility was fine for me. I didn't like the scroll wheel very much as it seemed a bit wobbly and not that secure. I think this is because you can move it side-to-side. Also, the overall feel is a bit light and plasticky to be honest, but then again it matches its price range. Functionality though is good.

@@roastnut you're right it's functional but the scroll sucks compared to the MX Anywhere 3 and also it feels plasticky... but it's comfortable for a day at the desk. Thabks for share your experiences

Thanks!
FYI it works with an iPad as well, in case anyone was wondering.
very good comparaison
Thank you very much for this! I'm currently using the MX Master 2s but I think my hands might be too small for it... although my hand is right at 6.75 inches haha! I have a bit of pain on my ring finger but I'm not sure if it's caused by the mouse or something else

Glad I could help!
Great review. I have. been using the MX Anywhere for some time but wanted to upgrade to the MX Master. I have a 6.75" hand and every time I tested the Anywhere in store it just didn't feel right. The Triathlon seems like a great size, its really unfortunately they don't improve the build quality. Do you know of any other similar sized mice, that might work for a smaller hand. I will also look into the gaming mice as well.

I would suggest the Logitech G 502. It is always best to test them out in the store. Best Buy usually has the gaming mice out for testing the grip.
My hand measures 19 x 10 cm, for me is the Logitech M720 better or the MX master 3 ? The MX master 3 looks more premium, the M720 looks more plasticky. I was also evaluating the G603.

I didn’t compare the Logitech gaming mouses here, but yes- they are smaller and might work better. I know the G502 is really good, and ergonomic.

Sorry I didn’t respond to your direct question earlier, but the MX 3 should work great for your hand size. The MX’s are much better built and work on just about any surface. Logitech should make a smaller version and make a tenkeyless version of the MX Keys keyboard, IMO.
I have been using MX Master 2s for a couple of months, and I am facing pain in the palm-tumb area, and from wrist to arm below the elbow area. I am doubting that the weight of the mouse is the root cause. As I shifted from a lightweight M235 logi mouse. Was this a common problem with everyone who switched from a lightweight mouse to the MX Master series?

I was a bit worried as I moved to the MX Master. However, I don't grip the mouse - I just push it around. Perhaps changing your grip to a palm grip would help?
I bought an MX Master 3s without thinking much about my hand size & it's a shame that the logitech website doesn't highlight enough about the suitability of a mouse to different hand sizes, the information is there but it's not as obvious as it should be. My hand size is just shy of 19cm but Master 3s was too big for me, so I returned it after two weeks and bought an MX Anywhere 3s as the website said it's suitable for small-medium hand sizes. After 2 weeks of usage, I am finding it too small now 😂 I am trying to switch from my really old M210 (11 years old) but I feel like my hand is so used to that form factor that I wont be able to switch at all 😁 The key difference between Anywhere 3s and M210 shapewise is that the former is much flatter and shorter so I am unable to rest my palm as well as I used to, so I am thinking if an M720 or M650 would be a better choices. M560 is the closest to M210 in terms of dimensions but not so feature rich as M720 which is as programmable as Anywhere 3s. So I am a bit confused now.
