My sound is inverted I hear shooting on my left and it's happening on my right any fix for this?

i'm completely unable to turn on the dts surround sound through anywhere but app, legacy sound settings doesn't let me change it, quick menu doesn't let me change it, windows 10/11 menu doesn't let me change it. I've reinstalled drivers with no luck

The crackling and sound distortion has been resolved recently. I believe you need to revisit this video

Thank you for your comment and for pointing this out, yes they finally fixed this issue, I just tried and it works without crackling or distortion. It took them almost a year to resolve this bug.

@@TehnoManik I agree, that it took them this long to resolve sucks. Additionally, I can only enable DTS Sound unbound in windows settings (not by right clicking the speaker icon) Additionally, I did also experience the bug myself last night xD. But this was resolved by turning off DTS Sound unbound and back on. The question is, why would you use it with the Logitech Pro X if it already has its own 7.1 surround sound? I mean if I use DTS Sound unbound, it sounds like I am in a room and there is a lot of echo, but the 7.1 surround sound remains the same and is very accurate. Without DTS sound unbound, its the same but without the echo. Perhaps you can tell me the difference :)

@Exiler652 Logitech surround from G Hub app always worked, and when input is stereo there is no obvious difference in sound. Its games I see huge difference, probably because games use some kind of processing either DTS or Dolby for positional audio. With G Hub surround I get very muffled sound and it does not help with positional audio at all. When using DTS from windows sound settings, all audio is processed by DTS app, and stereo is also affected and that "echo" is added to the sound. But in games sound is much clearer, not so bass heavy and muffled as with G Hub app. Even better is Dolby Atmos app, but it doesn't work with Logitech USB sound card (because its DTS licensed). At some point I will definitively replace G Pro X with some other headset, preferably one with Dolby license or I will just buy Dolby Atmos app from windows store and use integrated sound card.

im using logitech g pro x in the logitech dac, 100% volume on windows, ghub and headset settings but ingame the volume is low, i would like to know what settings do pro player use for example cause they're good with 40% volume ingame as s1mple do, i have to put like 100% (my ears are ok i did the "test" to de doctor for other thing a while ago and all fine)

For this headset to sound decent i had to change to 16 bit, 44100 hz. With Surround Sound enabled it sounds like crap still though.

i got a problem always when i go into the ghub i hear very loud ringing noise fr how to fix

Is there any fix for that shit noise on max vol?

It is fixed and works without a problem. You should update the video

i still have the same problem..cannot use logitech ghub together with dts sound unbound.. after i uninstall g hub , it works fine... but now my preset buttons or volume button doenst work..

Attention everyone; last update resolved DTS issue, with latest G Hub and DTS apps DTS Headphone:X should work without problems.

Hello, just found your great video review on this headset! I’ve just got mine and wondered if you ever managed to fix the static noise issue when the volume wheel is at max? This happens for my headset currently and wondered what the fix is Is it a case that moving to dts headphone x will resolve the static problem I’m getting? It’s a really annoying issue for me and you are the only reviewer that seems to mention it haha

Man I'm glad I found your channel all these other yt are saying this is a good head set. G HUB IS TRASH!!! if I could get the surround sound to work it would change my mind. The only way I can get it to work for a little is to Uninstall ghub and reinstall it for it to work for a little. For a 130 dollar headset I am highly disappointed. Logitech sent me a second headset but it didn't fix the problem. Has anyone found a fix to keep the surround sound working? When I test it all I hear is This is the left channel 6 sec pause this is the right channel. Man I'm so mad

Leave GHub app installed but don't enable surround in it. Then install DTS Sound Unbound App from Windows Store. Then in windows sound settings set spatial sound to dts and try original surround implementation from DTS, for me its better.

Fucking shit, I just received my pair of these today and found out that they actually sound terrible as hell with the G hub surround sound, anyone knows how to fix it??? Please

Just bought it today and it’s terrible the game audio is horrific the only thing there good for is music and movies that’s about it

@MoosterGG I really can't suggest anything, never tried any headset other than those I mentioned in review. I just wanted to warn people who expect DTS to work as advertised that it doesn't. My second choice was Alpha S and if I were buying now, I would buy them instead.

The DTS problem has been fixed! This is incredible and the headset is now excellent!

@@NhanTran-sx8vx not exactly, you have to keep the DTS app to have access to DTS headphones X, the Logitech version of surroundsound is inferior but the DTS one is supposed to have been fixed, it doesn't travel any more for most people

no, it''s not. I can't even enable dts anymore... They messed it up horribly

I got mine today...My G430 sound better. Wtf, also I dont even see the DTS option under spatial options. It's just grey and "off" Have you figured out any way to make them sound good? I really dont want to have to send them back and ask for a refund.

I don't know for any fix, and if they didn't fix it in more than half a year, I doubt they will ever. And if G430 sounds better to you, this one will not sound better no matter what. If your option is greyed, DTS app doesn't recognize license.About refund, I really cannot suggest anything to you, if you don't like them now, you probably never will. Cheers...

Try this: Under sound settings where you set Spatial sound, click on "Additional device properties", and go to "Advanced" tab when window opens. Select Default Format to be 16bit, 44100 Hz (CD Quality). This may help.

@@TehnoManik I lowered it and forgot to up it to 44 again. This actually helped add some punch to voices. Thanks. I just htink i'm not used to closed headsets as my prior one wasnt one.

So is there the way to fix it? I hate this terrible crackle...

Unfortunately no fix that I'm aware of. I tried everything I can think of, still same crackling.

@@TehnoManik There is one mate go check on reddit but basically the only fix at the moment is this : Go to the DTS App > DTS Tab > Settings > Explore Spatial Surround > Play the audio, DTS will be fixed > Mute the DTS App. Do not minimize the DTS App, the audio will work flawlessly if you do this.

@@TehnoManik no worries ! Totally agree with you, this is not acceptable. Both Logitech and DTS know the issue for so long but still, no proper fix have been released yet. Both the PRO X and PRO X wireless are being sold with a DTS compatibility, but this is just not true. I think there is a petition to sign somewhere on this on Reddit

@Dawan77100 Well Logitech is supposed to be quality product with good support, and if we can fix it by this workaround, it should not be hard for them to fix it also. But looks like they don't care, and with average sound G Pro X has, any 30-40 euro no name headset is same. I didn't expect stellar performance, but rock solid one, as I'm used to with Logitech products. Well I paid, I learned, next time I will think twice before buying Logitech stuff. Thanks for tip again!
