I drove truck for 19 years , the last job I had was hauling logs. I"ve seen it all. I would let that guy go. Dont cuss him out, just telling he needs to go haul boxes till he gets better at trucking. Keep at it man. Your young and strong you will make good in life if you hire the right hands and treat them better than family. They will make or break you. Good luck.

I think when hiring people you need to test them on the spot for hooking up a trailer, unhooking, reversing, take them for a test drive and see what they do before hiring, where the truck ended up in the ditch was just plain lazy and stupid on the drivers behalf, I used to watch mr bobby alot on tv and now on youtube, he seems like a good honest man and won’t do you wrong, best of luck young fella

If possible hiring a man like Bobby can make the difference in you succeeding or not, I've been farming for myself for 32 years now the advantages of having a person like Bobby on the job is not only can he keep the job moving he can see how what you doing today will impact the job a couple weeks or more down the road!! Also I love that you kept Bobby's theme song!! Joe South The Games people play In life you will understand and appreciate that song more and more!! Good luck bud hope it all works out!!

Hauling logs is different from almost anything else. Every load is top heavy and that makes for a sketchy ride. You have to take turns slow and think 2 steps ahead. You can't just be joy riding like you're empty. If the driver doesn't understand this they will mess up every time.

If the deals hes making on the timber involves removing the stumps after hes done clear cutting the timber he might be better off with something like D8 with a Vee blade or a KG blade, digging the stumps out one at a time is gonna be slow and expensive, that old vee blade will take them out with one pass, ive got a 7 with a KG blade and it does really good but i still find its light if you cutting stumps. That old Pepsi trailer was a dam good deal it had 5000 dollars of hyd lines made up in it!!

Experience is key in Driving especially Driving Big Rig and you learn from your mistakes but if someone just keeps screwing up over and over and not learning from there mistakes then you have no choice but to let them go because their mistakes are going to end up costing the company, but it looked like Barney phiff didn't show up to issue any citations for Blocking the Road way, I like this kind of content and will be looking forward to future video's.

I guess they let you guys get away with a little more than they would out west . Having all the electrical cords and air lines just laying on the catwalk is a big nono out here D.O.T. would pull ya right in . I see the pogo stick there I'm just wondering why the green cords not attached it .
