Riding in the sled was a really awesome view, try and get more of that!

That truck brings me back to my childhood thumping up and down the highway with my Dad every summer. I started driving it at 5 years old my Dad would have me climb into the seat and he would slip out and into the sleeper to catch up on his sleep I'd have people pulling up and look up to find a child driving and no adult in sight they would just freak out. Good old trucks that hold great memories of years gone bye! Good luck with this old work horse I'm sure it will serve you well.

My dad was a trucker. Love to see those old dogs still pulling. He used to take me to all the truck and tractor pulls when I was a kid.👍

Definitely impressed, bought it one day, and pulling the next, for q truck that's been sitting awhile that's impressive !

The cabover is sweet. I’d name it peaches. It’d be awesome to fix this one and blue coller up and roll in with both cab overs. Blue coller could be the permanent pull truck toter, tatter taxi is the show true and the new pete be the work truck.

I couldn’t imagine a better sequence of events and out come! I can’t recall the last time I’ve seen someone buy an old project and be able to take it out and rip on it without needing a bunch of work first.

That thing is the perfect purchase! Came out and preformed like the beast it is!

hit the punch list on it and keep pulling. This thing is SO bad ass. I am glad you found it.

Grew up riding in & learning to drive in old cabovers like that, in the 70's. Dad was an O/O and first put me behind the wheel of his Cruiseliner Mack. Then later a early 80's K100 Aerodyne. That was around the time i first heard the term "large car"

Keep it. Cabovers are a rare thing anymore. Last of the true "Steel Cowboys". Drove an 82 K100 myself for awhile. Strong beasts and will take what you can dish out.

Lift the fuel tank mounts so that you stop bottoming out on the step deck or invest in a tilt/slide dropdeck

Looking at the hitch I think it was a truck used to move fsrm equipment like a cultivator drag air drill planter etc

Hopefully it just needs a round of routine maintenance. Oil change, filter changes, check some hoses.
