To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick's existential catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂 And yes, by the way, i DO have a Rick & Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid 😎

I like to think Rick liked Snowball and that's why he went through the effort of "incepting" him rather than mercilessly slaughtering him and all of the other rogue dogs. Which we all well know Rick is capable of doing. Kind of sweet!

Pretty sure Rick still slauters people all the time regardless of a comment he made (He literally did a pearl harbor, because he could. but not a 911, that would have been too low). And pretty sure he actually incepted Snowball because that was the theme of the episode, not some convoluted rule Rick supposedly has about not doing things "just because he can" (Also pretty sure Rick brags about being a god that can do anything he wants all the time soooooo...). Not sure where the need to jump in and tell me I'm wrong about a simple interpretation that is so trivial there is no evidence for or against it. No claims here for people with their heads all the way up their ass to discredit. People just sharing thoughts about the show. It's nice to think Rick likes a few things on top of also hating everything. That's all.

You can see this in the chapter where someone uses his private toilet and **SPOILER** -- Near the end of the episode, he decides to put him and another people who find interesting but doesn't want to kill in a liquid to make his dreams come true while sleept instead of killing him.
