Welcome back, bookworms! In this video I'll review Close Every Door by Riley Sager, a thriller about down-on-her-luck Jules who finds a job as an apartment sitter in a prestigious building in New York. The job pays amazingly and demands very little, but what seems to be a dream coming true turns out to be a nightmare as another apartment sitter disappears in the middle of the night. Is there an evil force in the building? A serial killer? Is one of the rich residents responsible for the vanishing, or is there a bigger conspiracy at hand?
This book was marketed as a terrifying, suspenseful thriller, but I´ve read enough of overly hyped books to be impressed. But this book was indeed different! I don´t want to give too much information and potential spoilers, but let´s just say my heart was indeed racing at some parts of this book.
This part horror, part detective thriller keep you guessing, both for the solution for the mystery and the actual genre - is the book set in a supernatural world, or is the real villain flesh and blood? I won´t tell you now, but I will say that by the end, (almost) all loose ends are tied.

You know, it's funny because I sometimes really hate books like that... Maybe it also have to do with my mood, who knows, or how much the book was hyped.
