Bookworms, which protagonist is the worst person you've ever read about? I once met someone who really reminded me of Holden Colefield! I couldn't stand being around him...

This sounds a little like You by Caroline Kepnes to me, which I like! I do think it’s interesting to learn about the author’s intention but I recognize how the book transforms with every readers‘ own interpretation and that is out of the author’s hands

I like unlikable characters. It makes a book more interesting.

Generally speaking so do I, but when the protagonist is such an awful person it's a little difficult, isn't it?

@@thebookworm6554 sometimes but mostly used to it since I read a lot of horror. Not many characters to like there sometimes.
