What kind of Choir are you in?

I'll never forget singing this with my choir the song is truly beautiful

I'll never forget seeing this live that night. Truly unforgettable.

My high school choir just sang this song in our last show. This song strikes my passion in every way and I'll never be able to get enough of it

I sang this in an international superiors only four part mens choir the family singers out of Hancock N.Y. and placed second in 2003. one of the most spiritual moments of my life. We almost died when they announced we placed.

Bass 2 here! Me and my choir are singing this in 2 days and I couldn’t be more excited. I’ll be singing the beginning solo. Can’t wait!

I'm curious, what key? Do you drop it an octave to be in the "meat" of your voice, keep the octave, or go for a key somewhere in the middle?

Brings back good memories of Ball State University. I sang this with the Statesmen, a Tenor 1 myself. But I gotta say, the bass section was totally On Point!

I've known this song for a long time. We've learned it in our English class(in non-English speaking country, obviously). We've never been taught about the story behind it. Concert halls and venues should have ejection mechanisms installed in their chairs: 1st time someone coughs, a yellow light comes off; 2nd time, spectator flies off through the roof so they can continue to cough on Mars.

You know what I like about professional choirs vs average choirs? YOU CAN HEAR EVERY SINGLE PART EQUALLY!!!!!

i always felt it was his spirit, released from the bonds of his human body, quickly flying back to his home of scotland along the low road, and the elation of being able to return, even if he doesn't get to truly "meet" with his true love again
