I love the metal music, I really really do, but this fits how sweet and beautiful you look more than the metal. Keep up the amazing beautiful and EPIC work sweetheart. I approve it also,, and I`m not a Scotsman. wonderful song. So much emotions in every tone and word. Love it so much, cry my heart out. And this Young Man sings it with so much .... have no words .. he sings with his whole being so much feelings, and that acapella is just "drop-dead-good". The acoustic guitar is fantastic. LOVE IT. Thank s to both of You guys for this wonderful song. 💜👏🙌
🏴🏴 as a Scotsman, that was awesome, good to hear the right words sung as well, fantastic team Dan and Spyglass 🏴🏴
I was born in 1948 and I’ve always been obsessed with Greensleeves which is a Medieval song written by Henry XIII king of England. It also is used as the tune for the Carol, What Child Is This. It’s hauntingly beautiful and I cannot think of a better voice than yours to attack this. Lol. Your music always attacks my soul. Thank you for helping us all feel alive and young again.

Dan, this was the last song I ever sang for my twin brother after he passed away. My heart broke that day irreparably so, every time I hear this song, that pain, and remembrance comes back just as strong as the day it happened. I doubt I'll ever heal, but I will remember the light, the love, and the friendship he brought to this world. Your version has tears streaming from my eyes because you sang his favorite song just the way he loved it. For this, thank you, thank you so much, the memories live stronger than ever. You truly are a treasure to this world and I hope you a long and happy life. Respectfully - A fan.

Rasta - My condolences. Grief the loss of your brother, take your time and do it on your own terms. It is possible to heal if you allow yourself to heal. I wish you as the days goes by, whenever you hear this song, instead of it causes you pain and tears of sadness, it brings from the deep of your heart ❤️, your mind and soul, a smile to your face and tears of joy of good remembrance of your brother.

There were no mistakes in this beautiful Scottish ballad and the outdoor scenery lent even more authenticity to the theme. Your gorgeous voice and Gabriel's perfect accompaniment made it into a jewel that I will want to enjoy again and again. Thank you for your efforts to constantly surpass all expectations!

Yes absolutely! And that sailor shanty I cannot remember right now.
According to Celtic legend if someone dies in a foreign land, his spirit will travel to his homeland by "the low road" - the route for the souls of the dead. In the song, the spirit of the dead soldier shall arrive first, while the living soldier will take the "high road" over the mountains, to arrive afterwards.

The Great American Myth: "I'm part Cherokee." Unless you have the paperwork for it, or photos at least, it's a family myth that probably arose in the 1960s. More spoil-sportage - based on American history - ahead... If your Irish ancestor left N. Ireland for America in the early 1600s, as many did, he was most likely a wee Scot.

I so love your music. I love your voice, I like the way your nature comes through, and because I'm an older woman, a grandmother, I can tell you that you're nice looking man, too. But I love that your heart is so for your music and it comes through. This song The Loch Lomond, is so beautiful, an album of this would be more than I could help for on CD you just play continually! Dan is amazing. Like so many, I had not heard of him until he released "Amazing Grace". If the release was on a 45 (yes, I'm dating myself) it would already be worn out. Eventhough Crosby, Stills, Nash +/- Young are by some considered folk rock, I think Dan would crush any song previously performed by the group.
😢 Heartbreakingly beautiful. My dad would sing this to me as a kid. Thank you, thank you, thank you for doing such a wonderful job.
Beautiful! As always you made my heart smile.
So few performers in the last couple of decades truly appreciate the beauty of singing in harmony! Gorgeously done, lads!
I grew up about 2 miles from the banks of Loch Lomond. This was a beautiful rendition of the song, and I just want to say that if you're ever in Scotland you can be assured of the warmest welcome you'll ever experience. Thank you for releasing this.
WOW...
May I recommend Battle Hymn of the Republic? It is a hymn written during our Civil War in 1865-1869. What few people today know are that many troops would take Sundays off; would sing hymns together; and pray for each other because they knew they would be fighting on the next day.
When Dan plays the harmonica Davi captures a delicate spider web in the brush. Love it.
This is insanely beautiful! Imperfections? Not a single one! 💜
