With no reflection on the couple, I wanted to share a story about buying and sharing: moving in together... A lady bought a house and her partner moved in and he kept his house for his son to live in, just like this couple plan to do. When they split up, he took her through a lawyer, and won half the value of her house and she had no say on his home, as she had never lived there! Just a point of note to be aware. Love the programme and Ree; what a smart young lady!

I kept wondering throughout the show whether the lady was buying the house alone as the man was not moving in with her at that time or were they buying the house together. Edited: Is your story about a couple in the UK? Anyways, I enjoyed watching the programme.

That's why I was quite wary when he used the excuse, IMHO, of ..."when my son is settled I'll move in". he is not committed to her fully. I don't trust him not for anything about his character as it sounds like maybe his ex-wife or partner doesn't want him to move on and he wants to try to be single or scared to make her upset. It is strange. I just don't like it for that nice seeming, searching for love, lady, and I think she should be wary. I hope she was. In addition, it seems as if that's a sizable chunk of money that she has for a house.I don't know if he's contributing a dime/pound. It doesn't seem like it. I'm kind of concerned, because almost 2 million pounds is still a lot, even if the show aired in 2022! she should be very careful of him being a sort of fortune hunter cuz I just don't like it .I I just feel funny about a man like putting off moving in because his child has years to grow to adulthood, so when was he going to move in with her, if he's waiting for his kid to be settled! that's weird!

OK I've seen this before. I don't understand that older gentlemen. If you're not committed to starting a new life with your partner then he shouldn't have a say on her choice of house. Not getting good vibes.

I'm hooked on these two hilarious buddies and look forward to more. A fan from Canada. I love the old style property but if they saw how big houses are in Canada they'd think we live in castles 😅. Our prices are off the charts for what you will get. We sold high and bought low so no mortgage. It's just a slave system.

I don't know. Since the guy isn't going to live there or contribute money to the purchase, does he deserve to have an opinion of the house the lady will buy. She is making a very big step and financial investment into a short term relationshil.

LOVE THESE SHOWS - HOWEVER -TOILET HERE AND TOILET THERE toilet everywhere . . ALL WATER - FLUSH AWAY WITH ...We love this show because of its meetings an urge to help people. It is like life itself. You never know what is around the corner. However - in younger years I grew up with outdoor toilet and we had - 25 C at times. That was in 1970ish. Today I am building an outdoor toilet and since 15 years we have a Multrum toilet=no water, just a 15W fan=ventilation an zero smell (there are a pair of tricks more, like urine seperation and a led lamp/electric flykiller). 3 barrels every two years is all there is to empty. Composted at part and dry at other. It is a learning as one is " first on moon" but it is the future. What I am hoping for is those ecological solutions and I see none of those in this or list it or love it among similar shows. You make the future better - one step in front of the other.
