Are u just using the scientific name? Cuz that's a spiny lobster correct? It looks like southern or Caribbean lobster which I thought was more in the crawfish family idk compared to the Maine or nothern....I live in CT, Fairfield county so I know my seafood but I'd love an answer?

4 sure it's a spiny lobster,,, Just like caribbean, tropical or florida lobster Langoustine " is a mini clawed lobster or prawn caught in north East Atlantic also Where we call it scampi,,, And in UK ,, we have spiny lobster also in the south scientific name (Palinurus elephas)

Hope that this channel grows more, its currently underrated compared to the heavy cost.

In the Galapagos Islands they harvest both green and red spiny lobsters. The red ones go for a higher price and the locals say they are better. Have not personally done an A-B comparison though.

You ruined it when you pulled the good stuff out. 😣

The yellow parts are full of aroma and DHA. You should keep the yellow stuff in the heads and only strip away the stomach.

These creatures are all dead before cooking and are borderline inedible, especially the boiled ones shown first. The lobster meat that you pulled out of that tail was not good. When the meat is crumbling and almost mealy like yours was, it's not a good idea to eat it. That indicates that the lobster has been dead for quite some time. A lobster's tail meat, when cooked, should be nice and firm and all one piece. I hope you didn't get sick from eating the dead lobster.
