I managed a Vuitton store in the 1980's and was honored to have given a tour of this atelier. At that time it was managed by Mr. Patrick Vuitton, he personally gave us the tour. It was a great memory for me.

Because I need to change bags frequently for work, I chose them for attending important gatherings. The replica of *condupcom* gave me more choices, and it completely held up the scene. Everyone praised it for looking good.

If I could go back to when I was deciding what to do with my life-I’d go to work for one of these fashion houses and learn all these wonderful skills. The best videos on KZread are all these artisans showcasing their skill in our throw away society. It’s a different time now. I like the classics. I like things that last and stay relevant.

Now i understand their product is expensive only rich can afford by not its name but by the people behind it, dedicated and passionate..

@@levinng2004 and look at the beautiful Regina King's beautiful Louis Vuitton dress at The Oscars in 2021. That's a masterpiece. Making that dress with those millions of tiny decorations is TALENT.

We have a Louis Vuitton steamer trunk from the early 1900’s. My great great grandparents used it when they would travel via ship overseas for vacation. Amazing how long their products last.

I had the pleasure to visit Asnieres few years ago. I brought a hard side piece with me that was made at Asnieres and was able to take photos with artisans who made it. It was thrilling for me to be there to meet them and they were excited to see one of the hard side piece they made show up at the atelier.

I just purchased my very own Louis Vuitton purse for my early 33rd birthday and couldn’t be more satisfied, I was always so curious how they make the purses well now I know, It’s so exciting to see that. Perfectionist! -

Today I learned that Louis Vuitton actually manufactures their products by hand in France. Legally. Using adult labour. This is wonderful news! I suddenly respect them a lot more.

I've seen this video as an ad, but couldn't force myself to skip it. I really appreciate good craftsmanship, and people in the video felt so passionate about their work. Would love to see more.

Not everything is made like this, this is the couture side of LV, and has to be handcrafted in a atelier in Paris. Every from LVMH thats not couture are made in a factory

These are the classic LV trunks... Outside of Trunks, yes, mostly everything leather made is made in this same style. Spain, France, Italy and the US are the only places where LV produces their goods, ensuring quality and fair workers wages.

@@antoniohussey8936 I've actually WORK in it , NOW. Every single piece made by Louis Vuitton, is made and assembled in factories in strictly France, Italy, Spain, and the USA. The only exceptions are watches , which are made in switzerland, as well as some sunglasses which are made in Japan. That's it.

Yes they will be stamped Made in the USA. Remember, TX isn't LVs 1st rodeo in America. Their 1st plant is in rural Cali. They're also artisan's creating bags in China & elsewhere. They said it on another video. So they are basically being made globally to keep up with the demand.
