The fix is going in. Collaborate in the lie, or leave. The message is clear.

What exactly is there to ‘discern’? That the Bible is suddenly wrong? This just feels like a further step in bullying the orthodox either into apostasy or to leave the CofE. What about disciplining Churches (& Cathedrals!) that are already implementing SSM Blessings before anything has formally been approved? This feels like a one way street - and it’s a dead end!

Precisely what I thought. The Anglican hierarchy couldn't _discern_ the skin off a rice pudding! It's all just meaningless words to attempt to cover up the implementation of an ideology by manipulation.

Telling G-d the Father is wrong is like the satraps being thrown into the lions' den after Daniel was taken out. Yum yum..

No one should be made to vote on anything without all documentation and details presented and reviewed ahead of the voting meeting.

A lot of the dark one is involved with all this dreadful breaking of our lords teachings. Those who are involved, will have to face our lord at some point.

Dan - you make me glad to be Orthodox.

I can’t help but wonder why this work has not been done first. It is unreasonable to expect people to vote without all the information available.

Great Dan, thank you. Bishops cannot vote for a change in doctrine without first breaking their oath to uphold it! We have just appointed a new vicar, or rather - she has been appointed by the bishop and no-one had any opportunity to ask her if she supported LLF. It is almost certainly the end of my lay ministry. This is a common story, parish after parish being ruined by bishops appointing who they choose rather than the best for the parishioners.

We are in the Laidocean Era, ever since 1948. This is *not,* nor ever will be, Israel's fault, but its Statehood was the Starting Gun - literally, in their case - for this Era! Time to start buying Clean Linen, eye salve and opening that Door, *because that Letter is aimed squarely at the Church Politic, and NOT unbelievers!!*

Unless the local vicar or pastor has gone woke, why punish those in your fellowship by leaving *them?* You are at liberty to challenge the spiritual leadership, as long as you stand foursquare on Scripture (and not your interpretation of it based on feelings). If your vicar or pastor dismisses your concerns or tries to 'put you right' despite your stand, *then* consider 'shaking the dust off your feet*, but do so after seeking the Lord's Face about it. I guess you know this, though. Stay strong, keep praying. Blessings.

@@davidcressey All denominations are flawed. Every single one. At the end of day, the struggle for truth is its own reward. I dont care if I am the last orthodox Christian left in the CofE, this is the church of my ancestors and I will never surrender to the revisionists and apostates.

The big problem here is precisely that the CofE is the national church "by law established" - which unfortunately means that the legislators control the church more than the Christians who attend the church. And as far as I can see the majority of legislators of almost all parties want the national church to 'get with the programme' by accepting same-sex marriage, while the people who count, those who actually regularly use the CofE, are barely 2% of the population - how long do you think the legislators will allow the CofE to be so out of line with the country it's supposed to be the national church of??

Vote reform

G-d the Father's Word, personified in Jesus (as described in John 1) stands as is! Even though the Old Testament is now overlaid by the New, i.e. the Law is fulfilled by Jesus dying and resurrecting, *but not abolished,* we live in Christ under Grace, but not free to sin (though we do wilfully) as Paul wrote in Romans 1. Move out from under the 'Grace Umbrella', one puts oneself under the Law and it's demands for breaking the least one (Epistle of James), even as a 'Christian' (quotation marks because many, especially those in dog collars, aren't necessarily True Christians, proven by their actions - fruits of the Spirit, or not - which we *can* judge). There is a way back, but it it includes repentance and humility (1John 1:4-8 and 2 Chronicles 7:14). These C of E bills do *not* override what G-d the Father says, which is confirmed in the Epistle of Hebrews, and should be summarily *thrown out!* Priests should not indulge in nor teach sin, nor even say that the sin is 'a blessing from G-d', when it is not! The C of E's headship is stinkingly rotten! Rev Dan, I suggest you do what Brett Murphy did, because you are going to be flogging a dead horse.

It sounds to me. You are being asked to approve something and to have faith that what you are approving is what you actually believe it to be. I could be wrong. I suppose what you have to ask is have you got that much faith in your guides. Or can some be considered to be blind guides? Me I don’t know if I believe in that amount of control. I suppose if the control is bible based. But if it’s not!!!

The ads are arbitary, put there by You Tube and are not even appropriate to the channel, quite often. And, yes, they do monetise the channel, but many Christian channels rely on their viewers to donate to keep the channel open, not the adverts. Don't blame Rev Dan for something he can't regulate unless he starts his own website ad-free.

Absolutely! I have heard stories of people who started with little or no knowledge but managed to emerge victorious thanks to Ana Graciela Blackwelder.

What a sorry state your organisation has become. Why does any God fearing person stay? Why would you put up with sin that is celebrated in your midst? Does what Jesus did for you all not count for anything, was His death in vain? I cannot call the CofE a church (the people of God) because the Holy Spirit does not reside where sin is not just acquiesced to but glorified.
