Congratulations!

We are not to judge the world at all. However, we are to judge what happens within the Church, and we are certainly not to take the things of the world on church teaching. There really shouldn't be any confusion for believers if Scripture is followed instead of the traditions of man. Jesus was very clear on this. Over time, unfortunately, the Church has taken on traditions that have become more important than Scriptural authority. To be radically following the teaching of the Apostles draws a clear line that we should not be crossing.

Yeah, John 18:36, "My kingdom is not of this world."

Once he retired he needed to support whoever went in after. Pope Francis can say what he likes. It was not evident in publications.

It is only right and proper for him to support his successor. and not to contradict. He can't do so because of etiquette. I am not Roman Catholic but I understood this from school history lessons

The general state of the world is starting to get oppressive, especially when most churches can't be counted upon to be housing people who aren't part of it.

Sounds very sensible to me. That heaven and hell thing is kind of important even though no one wants to be a hellfire preacher nowadays, and that kind of thing has been misused. I know which place I would rather end up in and apparently it’s up to me to choose. It looks like I have to work out my salvation even though it is a free gift from the cross. I hope I will stay the course and meet up with you in the preferable place to rejoice and not in the less preferable place to lament and curse. Thank you for your talk.

No way would Benedict have backed same-sex unions in church. He would probably have backed LBGT rights to have civil partnerships in secular society (as long as they're not called marriages). It sounds to me like something Benedict said has been twisted. I think it's wrong of Francis to speak for Benedict who can't answer back now.

Love the content. In the more recent videos the sound and video are not in sync. Or is it just me?

I think we are all missing the fact two men can’t show up at their local parish and sign up for precana or schedule the sacrament. The parish priests been saying soon there will be a change a few decades now. As Pope it does not matter what the last one said, he is not speaking from the chair. Pope John Paul II said no woman has been called to be a priest. Not infallible. Another thing they said would change and I’m a woman and glad it has not changed. It does not make sense for a woman to be called. That said any priest in his right mind minds the Sister’s if they know what is good for them. If they spent 5 minutes explaining the why instead of apologizing and saying someday, soon it could drop and get back to the important stuff. What is a priest? What is a nun? What is a Brother? How is a vocation different than a job? The Pope is supposed to be a direct line to God. There are only a few statements by the Chair of Peter (as the saying goes) and both concern Our Lady.

A marriage is made in the hearts of the two persons who seek to be married. Marriages have been taking place for many millennia before Christianity was invented, and the Roman church does not have a monopoly on marriage. That no doubt is the real reason why the two Bishops of Rome agreed.

This seems so wicked & wrong. Christian teaching & the Bible is very clear that marriage can only be between a man & women. Civil partnership is a different thing altogether. The C of E has moved away from Gods word as brought to us in the Bible. It is sad that the RC is going the same way. I personally feel that blessings can in certain circumstances might be accepable but that is very different from Marriage.

The church is in judgement but like Israel they don't realize it is here: People of God, you are the ONLY BOOK (if you are a LIVING BOOK read of angels and men) that can PROVE that Jesus is real and that he ever came because he has been revealed in you (2 Thess 1:10, Mark 4, John 16, I Cor 15) and as Paul said, we can but speak of things we have SEEN and HEARD: You can not prove what others saw and heard even if you wish you could: Paul also showed us this and continues to show us that when others have not experienced Messiah, they can not discern him. Saying that he came when you have not experienced him, is being a FALSE WITNESS IN COURT: All you can do is what Jesus spoke about God and himself: IT IS WRITTEN!!!! they should get rid of Bibles because look at the problems caused by the Bible in Abraham's religions, who speak of them as FACTS to oppress, judge and war with others based on here-say, when they can not prove it is true but only that it is written: ANYONE can write a book. Only the experience of what is written makes you a RELIABLE WITNESS but even if you see and hear Messiah, doesn't mean you make others see or hear him. : the NT like the TORAH and Tanakh, have a purely spiritual meaning that the carnal mind (donkey mind) can not grasp by those who have not experienced the HOLY SPIRIT baptism. Lazarus (Helped) is mankind DEAD for 4 days, 4000 years and the OLD MAN (grave clothes) STINKS to high heaven when Jesus tells them to roll away the stone (STONY HEART) of mankind starting 2000 years ago:: Jesus does NOT KEEP the old man from dying but WAITS for the FOURTH DAY and man's death, his END, letting that old man finish dying before he resurrects the SOUL out of it: This has been GOING ON FOR 2 days or 2000 years, actually since ABRAHAM who saw his day and was glad: Abram gets the name Abraham (father of many nations) to show the works of his soul above his donkey mind. A bit of a made up hearsay story trying to make something out of a long ago event. Of course Pope Benedict would have been polite and sympathetic. That's anout it. Catholic teaching has always been wonderfully, abundantly, simple and clear in this area. Long may it remain.
