I had those multiple times, saw some their facial features but not all and hair colour. They were always out of reach, no matter how fast or how hard I tried to reach them. I knew with all of my existence they were my "the one", but I was always separated by a wall, elevation, fences, windows. Always felt a sense of longing, like in this song, when I woke up. Haven't had those dreams in a while now though

I often have dreams of my first love that I haven't seen in 23 years. Waking up from those dreams feels exactly like this song. 😢

@@Momochi13 In my situation, I moved away all those years ago and I've only had a few times of us writing back and forth to each other over the years. He was always very respectful of the fact I was married and we focused more on the friendship since we'd actually known each other since we were babies (our moms were friends). He got engaged a few months before my marriage ended so I've stayed away. There's no way we'd be able to be together unless he moved thousands of miles from the area we grew up in so I guess my goal has always been acceptance of the situation. For your sister, think the only thing you can do is encourage her to be honest with herself and be really sure of her choice as best as she can be. I have regrets about my choice but then I wouldn't have my kids either. I guess that's what sad songs bring out in those of us that have this type of heartbreak.

I use to sit in a car at the park every night for hours with this guy. I thought I loved him so I would literally stay up all night and have to wake up at 4am for work every morning. I got tired of us only being able to hang out at a park (I lived with my mom) so I saved up for my own place. I got my own place and not two weeks in, he ghost me after 7 months of being with each other everyday.

I'm sorry for you. I had a love story too..before. I met him in a sunny day. I immediatly fell in love for him. But he didn't know. So he left. I missed him so much, and an another sunny day he walked in the street ( opposite me). We talked, we get closer, but we made a pause for a few months. After he came back. We enjoyed the time together. But this time he left again and he won't come back... i feel alone💔
