i dont care what anyone else thinks, I really like it. I dont want another bike, that looks like just another bike. Plus that supercharger sound and power speaks to me. I prefer if no one else has one
I can’t believe people don’t like the look of it, I think it looks amazing even in photos.
For me, I love the look of this, it’s very different, it’s good to stand out and be different, bring on the supercharged breed....an honest review too...great
"Lardy." I guess you don't have to worry about getting a Kawasaki press bike now, but your honest reviews are what keep viewers like me subbed.

Even the mother would have put it in a pillowcase with some bricks and chucked it in a river!
Just wish they put the supercharger in the ZX-14, with today's modern electronics. It's just too small for larger rider's. It's 3am here in southern Ontario Canada, just can't sleep thinking about my new 1290R coming in 2 days.
Well before your time I had a 1974 Norton 850 and put a Druin supercharger on it. Had two stage belt driven impeller that ran 7 times engine rpm. That turbine sound was awesome. Tied the chassis in knots though.120 mph tank slapper. Took it off !! 46 years later and a factory does it right. Might have to try one .
I might be one of those people that are just a bit weird, but i personally love the looks of the Z H2. Especially compared to the Ninja H2
Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde🧪 the perfect name for this bike!!! Kawasaki is not gonna win any beauty contest with this futuristic designs but they created true monsters 🐉 I love it
Really need to test ride one of these. Great video as usual buddy.
I absolutely love your channel Chopsy , your enthusiasm and excitement is fantastic 👍🏾

Great review as always chopsy! 👌
Chopsy absolutely hit the nail on the head with “ it’s a pussycat” you’re 💯 right, I tried it last weekend and my god it’s such an easy bike to ride especially in traffic, low speeds , it’s heavy but so is my S1000Xr but it’s not an issue
It’s stunning all Kawasakis look amazing

It's crazy how divided people are on the looks of the Z H2, personally I think it looks really good
It’s not bad looking in person and the quality and performance for the money is fantastic.
Great review as always chopsy
Chops seal of Quality for this review. Nailed it.
Your toy box overfloweth Mr Chops! Enjoyed vid as usual.
Nice vid Chops! I like the color a lot, and the look is suggestive as you say, anyway I like different...
love it looks wicked! I m waiting for Ducati to put the v4 in the monster ad wings all buy new love your rants good day mate roll that power on!
Good review, thanks!
I think it looks great, very aggressive. Certainly prefer it to the Ducati and most KTMs.

Honestly I think the styling on the previous Z1000R looks so much better. If they'd kept that look I'd rate it much higher on looks. It's mainly the front end I think, it's just too fat for my tastes. Each to their own though, and I'd have one in my garage if it was being given away! 🤣
Great review!
I think the zh2 is a beautiful bike
I like the looks of it, even more in person, but then I have the other Z's too. I'm looking forward to riding it
Great review 👍😎
Love the camera positioning. Sounds like a missile
Great review, I like how you do a balanced and knowledgeable review, not just from a riders point of view but also because you have mechanical knowledge, still think you like the KTM best

Thanks for the honest review. Lets hope that Kawasaki go in a different direction with their styling of naked bikes in the future.
im buying one tomorrow cant wait
Loved the fair, balanced, often retrained review. Last clear out of the unsold H2 engines for max profit it seems. Next weird Kawaka is electric power with a gear box, speed and range, just get an Italian to choose the final look.
Love the concept of the engine, hate how it looks
Need to get a test ride on one of these at some point. Think if I do, I’ll probably leave the shop with empty pockets. Maybe next year 😆
I eventually saw it in the metal and then I bought it. Still loving it, looks and all! :)
I didn’t like the look of them , until I seen it in the showroom and the rest was history, bike is amazing
Excellent review LCR, i'm loving mine, it's a great straight line blaster that'll handle the bends reasonably well with a bit of tlc. It's the perfect gentleman express., which I now want to get remapped, sod closing throttle bodies at 10k, they should be wide open. P.S. the paint on the tank on mine was all scratched up within a few rides also. Had to buff it out and put a tank protector on to avoid more of the same.

Yea same I think because it’s a taller bike you tend to lean on the tank getting on , I PPF’d the 2 sides to help protect it a bit
I love your vids lamb. I'm a proud owner of a '20 zx6r partially thanks to you.
Ugly enough that it will be cool in a couple years
Green is my favorite color, but I think I like that bike in the red trim looks better and I don’t like red bikes.Just not into the nakeds too tall don’t like catching all that wind in my chest.Good review as always!🏍🍻
Good review of a bike that can go fast in a straight line, I think I will be keeping my S1000r.
I think this bike is rad, with a few mods you can have Motogp power on the road mental haha. I agree the styling is a bit marmite but that red/black scheme looks nice.

i love my zh2, looks and all. i have the green and i think its sexy as hell. you are right though, its incredibly easy to ride but if you want to grip and rip, its a rocket ship. only thing i wish it had stock was remote preload adjustment for the rear.

I quite like the looks of it and for 15k that's a lot of bike if you compare the spec to the European manufacturers .
I find myself watching more UK videos than U.S. ones for this bike. Great reviews from the UK.

Mr Chops. This is a fair assessment of this machine. When i was viewing it on the walkabout.it reminded me of my daughters cat " FAT " but with big claws.I'm also concerned about the frame, it looks a bit light on for all that power. Time will tell.
in red and grey it's absolutely FUGLY! In green however, ahhh... I'm in love with mine! Nice review Mr Chops! 😁 Waiting for that comparison with the Sdr. Cheers

@@M4rkmcc21 Yes... I have some unexplicable disgust with matte paint. It makes everything look cheap. The black is more like a dark grey, and the red is not really a red neither, it's more towards burgundy. This bike has very distinctive looks, loads of angles and edges, a decent paint job makes a huge difference. no wonder kawasaki priced this version a couple of hundreds of quids under the all black and the black& green.
Amazing looking bike! So much so I,m getting one in the Spring . The only thing I dont like is the exhaust but I will throw an Akra slip on , easy job and thats all . No remaps or power commanders its fast enough
On the looks you are right about seeing them in person. When I first saw the pictures of z1000 (2014) I thought it looked ugly, Until I looked at it in a show room and bought one. since then the style is now only in the hands of posh Ducati streetfighters. I found the same with this, I thought it was terrible looking but once checked out in real life with a non standard exhaust I bought ZH2 as well.
Good review Looked at one in Bournemouth Kawasaki and the build quality is not good and talk about ugly but as you say beauty in the eye of the beholder Get the Super Duke all day long
Yep, it’s ugly, but it’s a lot of bike for the money. This could be a good replacement for my Concours. If they did a retro Z H2 RS, I’d get that in a heartbeat.
As someone that bought a ZX6R based on LCR review, my ears pricked up when you talked about a supercharged ZX6. That would be perfect!

I own one, good review and I agree with most of what you said. The things you noted both good and bad are exactly what I like about it. I spend most of my time on the road so it’s good to have a road focused bike, not a pin sharp track day tool. In the real world there’s not a lot that’ll beat it from A to B

Real good informative vid' - cudos
Great fair review as ever. The engine & power are undoubtedly very cool but as you touched on, it's not a beauty & also too heavy for my liking. Although it would no doubt be a tuners dream as you could have a lot of fun increasing the bhp, making it lighter & improving the looks. I agree with your R version comment too. To be fair it's comparitively well priced & there's definitely a place for it.....just not at my gaff thanks lol.

Thanks RR and agree!
You can beat this power plant, smooth and superbly capable in pretty much every situation that’s thrown at it. I’ve got an H2SXSE as I do a lot of European trips, but I’d love a ZH2 too for hooning about on here😂👍🏽
Idk, I kinda like the looks Chopsy. Then again, I've been known to like... "controversial" designs. Case in point, the MT-10 in my garage.
Another good video Lamb Chop
Tnx Lambsy, So for all around would u pick this or the SDuke??
If you see the prototype it looks awesome and then to meet budget it ended up looking like it dose 😤 does it feel light when riding like the h2?
East meon looking good in the sun, shame about the bike! I’m sure the motor is creamy but not my cuppa, great review as always John

I just bought one of these a couple days ago in metallic black with the green frame and I absolutely love it. The one thing I’m curious about is why the U.S. version comes with standard bulb turn indicators instead of the LED’s like the U.K. versions...🤔🤔

I've just taken one for a test ride. The power is next world fast and very controllable, The speed this thing gets to on part throttle is amazing.. The negative thing I found was the bike didn't handle too well. What I found was the bars wanted to turn sharply in the direction of the corner i.e opposite to opposite lock which I didn't like at all. spoke to the dealer about it and he said the tyre pressures may need to be looked at which I guess makes sense. Looks-wise, Like it. Insurance was a killer too......
Good review chops 🥩
Nice presentation, as always. Did you “unleash” the power of your ninja h2 after the ecu flash ? Can’t wait for the video. Stay safe

I saw it on display at the nec and thought it looked pretty mean. Not ugly.
Beauty from Ducati, beast from KTM and hunchback of Notre Dame form Kawasaki. Looks fun though
With the handling you could always but a slightly bigger tire on the rear like with the H2 as Ik it helps the bike out a huge amount 😊
Thanks.
I’m liking Kawasaki daring to be different, and I see many other manufacturers starting to adopt some of their styling cues. I wish all the manufacturers would offer as optional extras some touring gear rather than specific touring models, how about some factory panniers, remote rear preload and a centre stand? Not all of us want a touring bike first, but albeit compromised, a touring capable naked is appealing, like the VFR800 was.
Really enjoyed your reviews of this bike, many thanks for your efforts. I am looking to get this next year as a replacement for my zzr1400. How much do you reckon the Euro 5 exhaust is adding to the weight in comparison with a full race exhaust which doesn't have all the catalytic converters?

Gorgeous bike. Not a bike for my capabilities & physical stature but I still drool over it in the showroom and dream.I’ll stick with my Ninja 1000sx :).
I don't understand why the looks are even an issue? It's purely subjective & if you don't like the aesthetics, I guess you won't buy one? Keep it logical Chops to how the bike performs!
How can so many dislike Zh2 front, look at Ducati streetfighter v4 and Ktm fronts ugly as hell on those bikes too.
WTF it looks amazing
Not that I could afford the insurance, but a Z1000 RS/H2 cafe styled on the 78 Z1R TC with the molly paint scheme would be epic.
Pros - SuperCharger -LCD Dashboard - All modern electronic - power - comfort -good value for money Cons -Fugly
It's so ugly it's lovely. I love ugly bikes. I've owned a GT550 and R1150GS in the past, both hideous contraptions that fell out of the ugly tree holding hands and hit every branch on the way down. Dunno why but ugly bikes just work better for me. This one is spectacularly hideous. Want.

great review chops... my heart is always on the H2 but on the naked side the streetfighter v4 is my choice... hows the weight feel of the zh2 compared to the h2? is it the same or different?
@LambChopRides

My H2 before the Ti exhaust and everything else felt heavier.. As this is higher up and bars are high off the bike it feels lighter. Riding them both dont feel heavy, you only notice it on the really tight twisty stuff where the weight becomes apparent

@ 14:25 Are those little plates welded on the headers extra protection?
For me if you don’t turn back to look at your bike once you’ve parked it somewhere it’s not the right bike for you. And I definitely wouldn’t turn back to look at this! The thought of a supercharger in a 600 is very intriguing!
I think the front end may be long like that to increase the Arrow dynamics it doesn’t have wings like the street fighter Kawasaki had to do something to keep the front and down and make it more stable at high speeds
This one is definitely on the no list. Good review though 👌👍
