The reason why bm turns light colored and light like that has to do with the amount of bile going through. I’ve had the exact same thing too. Take good care of you!💞

I have a childhood best friend confronting cirrhosis, she won't stop drinking at this time. I work on the donor side of organ donation... I see curses and blessings and miracles... but I'm here because of my friend. Thank you for your willingness to share. Many a KZreadr podcaster will describe the intense pressure to keep putting out content for the algorithm... my fear for you is that you are trading one addiction for another whereas I see the content you are already sharing as really valuable. Just some feed back for you. I will support you, whatever you do - because I believe in miracles. Hugs.

Hey! I'm really sorry to hear about your friend. Have you by any chance shown her a y of these videos? Thank you for the feedback and tge concern. I can get where u are coming from. The reason I create videos daily is for everyone out there who might be struggling with drinking. Or they are laying in a bed like I was, hopeless and depressed. I want there to be something to bring hope to those in need of it. It can be taxing and hard sometimes. But, I have never been the type of person to just hang around the house and just watch TV. I am currently not working right now and this really helps me keep my sanity. It gives me something to do and look forward to every day and it keeps my mind working. I really need to stimulate my mind, a lot. And to your point, I might be doing a little of that trading off, but it's a positive trade and I am not drinking. Thank you so much for this. God bless

Can't wait for your cooking video. Take your time friend. We re all in this together. Can i ask..have you tried fasting? Its fantastic for healing. They say i have jaundice in my liver? But said its not too bad? Not sure how to take that. This scares me..bcos ill be honest..i think its just another pass to drink more? Ive been so blessed by God? An alcoholic for 20 years and no lasting damage. I have enlarged veins( i think you spoke of that)and minimal jaundice? It scares me bcos our beautiful creator keeps giving me chances..and i keep taking the piss? I cant believe i dont have more damage..even the docs say that? I used to fit years back? Much love.xxx

I came 100% clean with my doc re my adhd meds. I had kicked a pain med addiction long ago. Vyvanse 60 & if I didn’t tell on myself I’d be dead. I can tell u it’s so hard to b honest w your doc & working for one they do want to help. I noticed my “need” for my adhd meds were the same as my pain meds. I told my doc & he helped me kick those too. It’s scary & tbh your doc knows. We aren’t fooling anyone. I was on my add med for 10yrs. I live without it now. Annoying af but I’m clean. You can do this!!! Have a heart to heart with your doc. She will help you promise & she isn’t going to shame u. That’s your addiction talking. I am upfront to a fault because I’ve learned “my way” gets me into nothing but trouble. I’m here if u need anybody to talk to. Yeah u get tired coming off but it’s so nice not having to count pills anymore. I’ll be praying for you 🙏🏻🩷

Thank you for sharing this. My cousin dealt with the extreme fatigue. He struggled to get up the 3 steps to his front door every day. He lost a lot of weight too, and was malnourished when he was hospitalized. His body was absolutely ravaged at the time of his passing, and I know he was so tired, mentally and physically. I've learned so much about this awful disease over the last few months, and I'm truly in awe of people who survive it and live a functional life.

Thanks for sharing your journey and you will definately help people. I also have cirrhosis and have stopped drinking for 5 yrs now. I have a lot of the same symptoms you have so thank you for making me feel not so alone. I've been having a hard time lately with depression and I also go through times when I will be just crying for like a day or two. The thing that is so hard is it's an invisible disease. When someone looks at you they don't see anything wrong with you and yet we are sick non stop and have so many things going wrong inside. Until people educate themselves with the disease and the life expectancy etc. you suffer in silence. I would tell people things and they say ya ya and don't realize how serious it is. I didn''t think this would happen to me either so thanks again for sharing!

Hey there. I am so sorry that you are dealing with this. I really am. You are so right. A loy of people do not realize how sick we really are. It's not like we have a huge sign on us that says.... I have liver disease. I often have to remind people that I am very sick. I am often so tired and nauseous that I can't do anything at all. I know your pain. I hope things improve for you soon. I used to cry all the time. Everyday. I can tell you, the one thing that has helped me more than anything else, is staying busy. So glad you are helping so many people, I pray that you receive so many blessings because you are blessing so many people with your experiences, and your knowledge and wisdom about this situation. I have been sending your videos to my son-in-law who definitely has a drinking problem, he becomes very angry and scary, and he can’t even wait until he gets home to have a drink, he drinks while he’s driving home from work. Of course we are terrified that he will hurt someone, or get arrested, and lose his job, not to mention his health. 😓 But so far he is still in total denial. 😢

Look forward to a cooking video. Of course with my Cirrhosis I have to do very low sodium so I have to cook from fresh meats and fresh fruits and vegetables. Just a follow up after my 8.5 liters pulled off they doubled my lasix and spiranolactone. So enjoy this channel it's like you know how I feel. Next week I'll be at Chapel Hill. Since I'm in NC. Plan on talking to them about some of your suggestions. Fatigue is so hard to deal with sometimes, I cry also and feel isolated sometimes. That's why I enjoy your videos to remind me I'm not alone in this journey. Of course I know Jesus is always with me as well. My husband comforts me too but I just cry at times. Again Thank You.

Please stop drinking now. Red palms are a sign of cirrhosis, itchy hands, and feet are sign of cirrhosis, dark urine, whether it clears up or not is a definite sign of cirrhosis your either in the early stages where it can be reversed or you are in the late stage, you certainly need to stop drinking and you need to go see a doctor ASAP

The light colored stools are caused by a lack of bile, which is made by the liver. It's a common symptom of cirrhosis. Bile is made from red blood cells and is needed to digest fat. Bilirubin has to leave via the kidneys when the normal metabolic pathways through the liver aren't functioning. Jaundice and light stools go hand in hand. The color that should be in your stool ends up in your skin eyes.

@@liverdisease-qb6rk That's my layman's understanding from being a home health aide years ago as well as having a few friends who developed cirrhosis. Thank God I never liked it that much. I used to drink moderately and occasionally, with a couple exceptions early in my drinking career, but I've quit entirely and it feels MUCH better. On no occasion in my life have I ever regretted NOT drinking. On the other hand, as I got older it would raise my blood pressure and ruin my sleep, so I've regretted having just one beer after going to sleep and waking up after two hours with rebound insomnia, unable to sleep for the rest of the night.

Even after repeated blood tests showing my bilirubin is/was relatively normal, Doctor telling me I’m doing well, now I’m getting these symptoms of Cirrhosis… idk what to think at this point. My appointment isn’t for another few weeks, so I’m nervous and worried (as symptoms persist) and of course STRESS only makes this disease worse 😐 idk what to think. My current symptoms for the last few days: •Nausea •Dizziness/Vertigo •Fatigue •Insomnia •Minor stomach pain, including strange discomfort and a throbbing sensation in the liver area •Itchy skin •Amber colored urine (I’ve mentioned the urine before, as I’ve had this issue for longer than a few days, but am constantly told it’s nothing to worry about) I’m concerned… hoping my doctor isn’t just missing something that could be potentially life threatening

My GI doctor wants me to have a liver biopsy to determine for sure, but I am scared of possibly having a severe bleeding episode if they stick a needle in my liver... It made me want to be inactive. But being inactive made it worse. My range of motion was so bad getting dressed was a challenge. So I started exercising, forcing myself to. White Stools are a very common sign of liver problems. A lack of bile causes the white stool. Bile is made in the gallbladder and stored in the liver. Did your urine start to smell? My urine smells so strong, like sulfur! Also, we do recover. Ik a woman who was put in hospice with cirrhosis. She checked herself out and is doing well today.

Hi mate, I've experienced all that. I've lost two stone as I was 14 stone but it was all on my abdomen. That was about six weeks ago. However I'm left with this swelling on my pecks. The doctor says it's as a result of my drinking but they put me on spiralactone and we all know tha some people use this medication for.....that. How long did it take for them to go down? I'm stuck in a hard place as my doctor says I need this medication but I swear it's causing this swelling. Thanks for everything you are doing.

OMG, ur symptoms are 99% same as mine except the hair in the ear. Lol. Did you have skin problems? Luckily I quit in time and been clean for 3 years. Work out daily. Eat super clean. Muscles coming back. Libido increasing. Skin much better. I have never been the same though. Cold as heck now (feet and hands) which I prefer to them feeling hot. A neurologist explained the painful /cold hands could be neuropathy. The nerves cannot dilate them properly anymore which explains why they are so veiny now. Norcal in the house (from your live session the other day. I was Galacupcakez. Daughter keeps messing with my screen name). Stay strong buddy!

I swear my head shrunk too. Crazy thing is all these 'strange' symptoms seem to happen in the 2 months after I went cold turkey (except for losing weight which was a gradual thing). Blood sugar started going up, vision got so bad I could no longer see my food, hands/feet starting burning, veins popping, etc.........all the while my LFTs were getting better. Maybe I shouldn't have gone cold turkey?

you need to ask your doctor why he’s not putting you on testosterone cream. It doesn’t go through your liver if you just apply it on your skin. I get my estrogen and progesterone cream from a compounding pharmacy.
