    My girls both wanted one of these so badly before they left for Heaven. I found your video when I was showing someone what-and how CUTE they are! Ya know why I love this/your video? Because,You keep it 💯 real, even joking when you know it could be taken wrong. I can tell you are a loving, and dedicated owner. It reminds me of back when my 4 kids were little. You can't pay attention to anyone, or thing else without them acting out to get back your attention. He is insanely adorable, but God makes certain challenging human stages,(& animals resembling little people) CRAZY cute so that you can't stay mad, and you don't hurt 'em out of pure exhaustion, and frustration at their lack of ability to quit it!! (Especially when they know you're busy and they want that attention back!) You're a good daddy!❤ Thanks for a very real (and adorable) example of a Pygmy Marmoset!

So, I was remembering them in a happy way and trying not to hijack such a cute YT post with so much negativity. It's a work in progress. Non-water based formula (tree nut based pasteurized, as they are having problems with aflatoxin in wheat and ground nuts) specifically made for primates when they are babies on the 1/2 hour is normally what is recommended for a baby marmoset that age. Marmoset Infant Formula powder mixed with a powdered marmoset diet and some yogurt fed to them in a food safe syringe (keep extras on hand because they get clogged and buy a TINY straight scrub brush or put the parts in a mesh bag in a dishwasher WITHOUT scented soap for dishes and NO rinse product).

    Yeah, got the same combo at home too. My man and his marmoset, meaning her man and their house. It's oh so cute when she does this to him, or caresses(!!!) his hair, sits on his shoulder making some melodic like purring sounds or those prolonged cuddles! If she spots ME, for example because I need to be in the same room, this happens: Turns in my direction, coldly motionless, her eyes narrowing dangerously and then her tiny mouth creates a remix of a hissing cobra, Nile Crocodile crushing bone and military air raids warning siren. The only reason she tolerates me is... because I'm bigger - and his property or something. Also, we hate each other, which paradoxically connects us and assures she's not going to murder me in my sleep.

    They’re illegal in many places they don’t do well in captivity they’re not pets and should be in groups. They will die early and get many health problems because people don’t know how to look after them. In China they pay $4,500USD for “thumb monkeys” they’re not cheap. They need lots of space get 2 and know what to do with them.

  • @TheFlush1980

    @TheFlush1980

    It’s very simple. Don’t buy an exotic animal as a pet. Ever. Doing so is not in favor of the wellbeing of those animals. The illegal pet trade is horrible, parents are being killed so their babies can be traded and their habitats are being destroyed. These animals don’t belong in homes, they belong in trees. If you want a pet, get a domesticated companion like a dog or a cat. I don’t understand the need to own an animal like this.

  • @user-vt2eh5zb9y

    @user-vt2eh5zb9y

    11 ай бұрын

    @@TheFlush1980Actually most animals like these are captive bred and they are raised to be pets just like dogs or cats. In the wild, even without humans intervening with nature, they could die from diseases or predators. I think it is safer that way. Although I am also against having animals like monkeys as a pet, I don’t think it is good to encourage people to not get any exotic pets. Some people can take real good care of these animals and make them live happy for the rest of their lives. I myself used to own reptiles, so I know that it is not much of a problem, if you know what you are doing, and you do your research. Dogs and cats were once animals belonging in the wild, but people created different breeds of them making them domesticated. I believe that could happen with other species of animals. It is better to experience different pets than be used to just the common dogs and cats.
