Yahz Monae The dancer name is Big Lez’...we went to Springfield Gardens High School together, she’s danced and did a lot of choreography for many artists including Mary J Blige’s first video

Id argue the 90s also had the best music. I think 90s was the peak for HipHop and R&B. I am nostalgic for the 90s and the 90s had great games, but yes I agree the 2000s was the best for gaming. You had 3 really good consoles. And you still had the Dreamcast. In the 90s you had Sega Saturn, PS1 and N64, but the Sega Saturn really didn't do to well. I couldn't even find one in the mall.

27 years later, its crazy to see young folks give love to this song/tv show. My wife and I were in college and dating at the time. I would usually get in from football practice and dinner at 6:30. Living Single would just coming on tv when I got back to my dorm room. The mid 90's was a great time to be a young adult

The 90s was a great time for a grade schooler too. As a lil man in elementary school in the 90s, I came across one episode as it premiered it was probably I rerun. And I was hooked cause the show was funny and the ladies were very good looking. I loved the entire cast, especially Queen Latifah for her music as a rapper. Wish I could go back the 90s.

Queen Latifah and Kim Coles both had development deals with Fox. In March 1993, Fox announced that Queen Latifah and Coles would star in a comedy sitcom called My Girls, about roommates in New York City. The character of Khadijah was created for Queen Latifah. The character is an entrepreneur who started a magazine, and Latifah is an entrepreneur who started her own record label. Fox changed the show's name to Living Single three weeks before it first aired.

This show is really top 5. Season 1 intro is the best intro ever. They should've kept this intro through the entire series.

Kim Coles was so goofy on this show. Her and Overton were a great couple.

I miss hip hop that had jazz/r&b behind it.

This is intro is so 90s .. it's concentrated

Friends did nothing for me. I thought the characters were 1 dimensional and shallow. But Living Single had characters that were funny, fun to watch and had flaws. The friendships between them seemed real. Plus Kyle and Max's fights/insults were hilarious without coming off as mean. In addition, the theme song lives in my head rent free and always will.

Shoutout to the WB, summertime in the 90’s and we didn’t have cable. They’d always air this at night and I think will & grace. Also remember watching a lot of upn and pax tv.

My mom and I watched this every single week without fail. A bit dated now perhaps but I still find it to be funny and charming. Great casting.
