I agree with so many points in this video. Being that me and my kids spent time in PDC for two months it definitely holds a special place in my heart.

Yes! There's a real magic to PDC & the Riviera Maya in general; there's truly no place like it.

Girl, love your hair. Plz teach us your secrets...especially in the humidity in PDC!

The only secret I have is that I’m not fighting with my hair anymore 🤣 I just let it do what it wants & try to keep it moisturized. Usually I wear it in twists though because they’re so simple.

I just moved back to TJ from Merida after being there for 6 months and hating it. You’re right. I felt stupid moving down but how was I supposed to know it wouldn’t be good for us 😅 none of the videos mentioned it during my search. I think I’ve realized I’m a Baja girl for sure the Yucatan is hot af and I didn’t feel welcome and didn’t like the food vs other parts of Mexico. And my daughters school was $8000 each month 😑 versus up north at $3/4k each month. Merida you have to have a car because it’s not walkable at all and I came during the heat wave as well and was very very not happy

Whewww. I feel that. We scouted Mérida & decided it wouldn’t work for us pretty quickly 😅 BUT.. you don’t know unless you go 🤷🏾‍♀️ that’s part of why we wanted to do this whole series - to hopefully provide some more insight or a perspective others leave out.

@@o.family.adventures i appreciate it. I really do. Because all the videos are somewhat glorified and not telling everything for fear of backlash.

Im not even gonna hold you.. all the places we love most are expensive 😂😭 our favorite place on the planet, like literally #1 is Río de Janeiro, Brazil. Madrid, Spain is also really high on the list. We love Mexico City but the air quality/water crisis combination is not ideal 😅 Lisbon is also very family friendly & aside from where the bilingual schools are located, Bogota is great too (some people complain about the weather, but I like it)
