Nomi❤ Thank you for your videos. I'm 42 mom of 3 Nanee of 1. I had a heart attack 2 months ago. My house burned down last July, lost everything even my furbaby. Lost my srep dad , husband and 3 friends this past 2 years. I don't say this for sympathy I say this because I have been in a bad head space. Your channel has really helped me out. I would love to do what you do , and for now will live thru you. The everglades was amazing I felt like I was there on the boat with you. Can't wait for Colorado. Much love and blessing your way

Nomi, don’t sweat the small Stuff. Bumpers are there. They aren’t hurt.

As a retired auto insurance claims employee, I wholeheartedly agree, do not speed. It’s not worth it. I’ll take the longer route if the longer route seems safer. If no traffic light, I typically avoid left turns. I always physically turn my head instead of relying solely on my mirrors when making a lane change. Always keep your head on a swivel,no matter rural or city driving. The goal is to return home safely. Take care🙏🏽,everyone!

I so whole heartedly agree with you, I wish people would listen to advice and slow down, you don’t need to be that much in a hurry or be the first to get there. I live in Michigan and had to take my dad to a Dr. Appointment last winter in an ice storm 🙄, I was doing 35 on the freeway and people were passing me , sure enough as I approached my exit there was a terrible accident and I recognized one of the cars that passed me. It’s not worth it everyone, please don’t put others lives in jeopardy or even your own.

The scratches on your bumper may be from the brush you use when you were washing your car. You have to be careful with those because the brush can scratch the paint as well..

At some point, letting go and chilling is key... as much as you drive things are going to happen... :) I remind myself it's all good...lots to be grateful for and there is no rush.... nothing to run to.... enjoy the journey. God's timing is always perfect and no delays.... just a journey to savor. I live in Florida and plan to move because the driving is so dangerous... it's unreal.

I used to think van life was more free and easy. So much of your content seems to be fixing various issues with the van and stress. I hope this passes to a great degree. You can get clip ons for your front visors that flip down and they’re tinted see thru panels. It really helps me in Texas!

As an Army Brat , I spent half of my childhood in Colorado. My dad was stationed at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal until they shut it down and we went to Germany!! Colorado rocks!! Be sure to visit Pikes Peak, Mesa Verde and Elitch Garden theme park park (if it’s still there)! I can’t wait to see you enjoying Colorado❤!

Elitches is still there and so Is lakeside...I went to the rocky mountain arsenal as a kid on the " nature walk" with school...lol..that was a million years ago.. Oh and casa Bonita will be open again soon.

I had a Jeep with that same type of bumper it would get those types of marks from rocks hitting it while driving.There are great auto conditioning products that will take care of that. Make sure to do it before you go to colder climates those bumbers will dry out and look a light grey color and the new rock hit which is normal when you drive a lot of miles.

Coming to my home state! You need a reservation time to get into Rocky Mountain National Park. It's a big state, lots of things to see. I hope you have a safe journey! Looking forward to seeing your adventures.

Nomi, I wish they would hurry up and get your inverter fixed. Hopefully you'll hear something this week! That's all your waiting on and then you can hit the road. Maybe while you're waiting on the inverter you can unwinterize the van. That way you have time to check out for any leaks before hitting the road. Traffic is crazy in NC to I never seen people drive so crazy. I've lived in Florida but I know for a fact they are 3xs worse than driving in Florida! Remember we are leading up to a long holiday weekend so let the summer begin!! No matter where you go or what you do I wish you good health and safe travels ❤🙏

Use to drive Southern FL often and will just tell you those cats are a different breed of driver down there. We call them HELL CATS because they be screechin when they blow past you. I'm use to driving the NE Corridor around DC-Balto, Philly and NYC and we have some of the most aggressive drivers in the country but we literally cannot hold a candle to South FL drivers BRUH we move over. That said, I'm very sorry that you had to witness such a bad accident and I pray for the loved ones left behind as well as the others who were involved. Before I pull off I try to remember to pray for traveling mercies. I ask God to surround my vehicle with a shield of protection and to be my eyes, hands, feet and ears and to protect me from all mishaps, incidents, accidents and trouble. Blessing my dear sister.

I passed 2 accidents on 75 on Saturday, one in each direction. That was in Alachua County FL. People think they're invincible, I guess. You're right, they do some crazy things on the road down here.

I was 28 when I lost my mom from a car accident. The driver wasnt paying attention, she was reading a map. So, as I end this note, I will pray for all involved and the families affected by this. Happy traveling 🤩 I was gonna mention this previously when you washed your home, those brushes they have in those bays are terrible!! I scratched my entire car when using that one time! I never did it again. Be careful with those. Sometimes it’s better to just use the hot water hose not the brushes. Be safe. 🙏🏻🥰

Hi, the scratches are minimal but, you can use armorall; spray & buff. The dollar tree sells a small 1 ounce spritz bottle for $1.25. I use it on my vehicle and canvas coated tote.

I went to Denver last summer to visit the Rocky Mountains for the first time. Although beautiful, I never did get acclimated to the altitude change. I was so ready to go back home and breath again. LOL. I live in the Midwest. I pray it is easier for you to get acclimated to the new altitude, than I did Nomi! Someone told me after the fact that I should've waited a couple of days after flying in to go up into the mountains. I would've had a better experience.❤

Glad to know you will be visiting my home state. I grew up here and there are very few places I would rather be. As an FYI - please understand that it is high desert climate here and gets very hot in the daytime and cold at night especially in high altitude. Drink lots of water because the altitude is no joke. Recommend driving through New Mexico - through Abiquiui, Ojo Caliente and Taos nd start in beautiful Southern Colorado (the oldest town in Colorado, San Luis, is in that area) and make your way North. There is not enough space 6o list the wonderful places to explore! Stay safe and enjoy yourself!!

There is Garden of the God's, Pikes Peak, the Sand Dunes, Mesa Verde, Ouray, Rocky Mountain National Park, places with hot springs, etc...so much! 😊

Nomi ,I lived in Colorado when my 26 year old Son was 4 years old,We lived in Longmont and then my husband at the time moved us to Berthad Colorado.The weather there in the winter was hard to breathe because of the altitude. It is so Gorgeous,Just don't go into the bad parts of the city,ask around to see what areas are.Estees Park and Boulder is nice too

Went to Colorado in 2021 its was so cool, went to the Rockies just amazing! We stayed in Boulder. Your doing everything right with your health, I'm 70 and have no issues either except bad knees, my husband and I were told we were healthier than a lot of 40-50 year olds. Yes i live in Florida ppl are so impatient here especially young ones, they want to beat everyone in traffic, it's crazy!

I would have asked the company could they pull up their cameras to show when you first came in to see if any scratches were on your van, and if no scratches were there, then they did it. 😮

Those marks could've come from the brush tool you use at the car wash or even stuff flying up from the road when you're driving. You'd be surprised at the stuff you don't catch when it happens. Don't fret, those marks can be buffed out.

Colorado is one of my favorite states. I was stationed there when I was in the Air Force and I LOVED IT. If I were to leave Virginia, I would go back to Colorado or Vermont. The weather is amazingly unpredictable. I’m so excited for you!!

Colorado is beautiful and can be expensive .. like most places. If you go slightly south to the bottom of the Rockies in northern New Mexico it is less expensive and less crowded overall. There are other challenges but the food!! New Mexican food is my favorite! Red and green chiles on everything .. order half and half by asking for Christmas. 😊 Taos is lovely and kind of remote and surrounded by mountains and mesas. Looking forward to watching you explore Colorado. I hope you start using your water soon. It will be so much nicer for you to be able to wash your hands. Wipes and disinfectant do not really do the job. They are better than nothing but … You do not need to keep your rig winter weatherized anywhere out here in the Southwest… even at elevation. Truly. ❤❤
